What chance do you think this would have of becoming the Republican ticket? Would you vote for it?

Quite frankly, anyone who thinks Oliver North would run is kooky anyway.

Did you notice that some folks on this thread like the idea? I'm NOT one of them (see post 6).

We've also had some FReepers say that octogenarian Phyllis Schlafly should run for POTUS.

I know, I know.

It's just a prediction.

I've seen them on stage together numberous times and that is the vibe I get. ...they are close politically.

I feel the same as you about Palin & Perry.

It's more intuition than anything, they have a lot of political history together.

Well dang. Isn’t he aware of this?
Isn’t there some kind of dynamic speaking course he could take?
Gotta do something.

Liddy went to jail because he would not finger NIXON as the head of the breakin..

And in that, Liddy was being honest. *WHO* would have personally benefitted had the breakin been successful? It wasn't Nixon, but the Left's darling, John Dean. Nixon didn't order the operation, Dean did. Nixon's fatal fault was to give entirely too much loyalty to a man who didn't deserve it, John Dean...
