How much longer will it be before the federal government has become nothing more than a socialist machine taxing its productive citizens for up to 50% of their income, paying off the leeches in society with $$ confiscated from the producers, allowing millions to ignore the laws of the land, and prohibiting free speech of its citizens thru onerous legislation?

And also, seriesly, if I want to private message to a freeper, how do I find his/her mailbox? Just wait til they show up commenting on a thread?

Is there a way that a freeper can rearrange the order of his bookmarks, or go in and change the title of them? I've got so many, I'd like to categorize all of them by adding a short category name at the front of the title of each bookmark (ex. Iraq, Clinton scandals, etc.)
Oh yeah, how many angels can fit on the head of a pin?

Is there any rhyme or reason to this? We'd like to think there is, but there are always exceptions to any rules.
A lot of threads are moved to chat because they aren't pertinent to FR's mission or of interest to most FReepers. Sometimes they are just plain foolish, but have some interest. Very subjective.
Smokey Backroom is a place we send threads where there are strong arguments going on and constant complaints to us from those arguing. We don't have time to deal with them and they're mostly able to fend for themselves.
Prayer requests are harder, but we try to limit them.
A lot of times you'll see a thread moved out of news because it's already been posted.
No system is perfect but we try our best
