The Catholics for Bush website is now live! Click here to access the Catholic webpage: www.GeorgeWBush.com/Catholics
As a Catholic Bush Volunteer, you know why the President has won the support of so many Catholic voters. Yet, there are still others who need to get the message. The new Catholics for Bush website is a tool for you to make sure our supporters turn out to vote and to convince undecided voters to cast their vote for the President.
On the webpage, you can read how the President's agenda supports issues important to Catholics and view a side by side comparison of President Bush and Senator Kerry on core moral and social justice issues. You can also register your friends, family and neighbors to vote, request an absentee ballot and find your polling location by following links posted on the webpage.
THREE Ways to Help President Bush Right Now:
1. REGISTER YOUR FRIENDS TO VOTE. Click here for information: www.VoteforGeorgeWBush.com
2. VOTE EARLY. You may be able to cast your vote now via an absentee ballot. State laws allow absentee ballots to be cast if you cannot vote on Election Day. Please refer to www.GeorgeWBush.com/VoteEarly to determine whether you are eligible to cast an absentee ballot in your state. If you will not be able to vote on Election Day, and meet the criteria, I encourage you to take this chance and vote absentee.
3. VOLUNTEER FOR THE PRESIDENT AND OUR TEAM. Four years ago the President lost a commanding lead on the weekend before the election because the Democrats and their liberal allies orchestrated a massive get-out-the-vote operation; it nearly cost him the election. Volunteer now for the Republican team's vital phone banking and door-to-door efforts. Click on www.GeorgeWBush.com/72hour.

catholicsagainstkerry.com We are preparing our final radio spot plan for NJ Pa and Mich. Help us now. This is the time.
Recently, an editor asked me to write an endorsement for Mr. Bush for re-election to the office of President of the United States of America. I am honored to do so. I find it to be an interesting prospect. Ive already been endorsing and supporting our President for some time now. Ive done this through the use of massive email campaigns, as well as through personal interactions with many of his supporters, and his opponents. I must first admit that I do have a dog in this hunt. Ill further explain that in a few moments. I honestly admire Mr. Bush. Whether you agree with him on the issues or not, one thing should be said about him. You know where he stands. I like that sign of character in people. When he takes a stand, you know right where his feet are set, and so does he. Planted firmly upon a Rock.
People often wonder about hesitation in the patterns of his speech. He often inserts a lot of ahs and uhs in his speeches, as well as during his one on one interviews with the media. I like that. It means that he thinks about things before he says them out loud. Theres a place in the Bible that addresses such things. I mean, the uhs and ahs are rather distracting, but I often talk the same way, especially when I do any public speaking. I want to make sure that I say things just the way that I meant to say them. Theres no sense in saying something if you dont mean it. I believe that Mr. Bush is like that. It may be a bad habit, but that particular habit tells me a lot about the man. There are a few places in the Bible that address such concerns as saying what you mean. The Bible also warns us of the power of the spoken word. There are a lot of people in the world who are very smooth in their manner of speech. They seem to use all of the right words and gestures. They use all of the proper nuances in the way that they walk, talk, and dress. A lot of preachers and churches are like that as well. Much that they say is meaningless. They arent being real, you see. Theyre walking, sweet-talking, sweet-smelling, lies.
One thing that Ive noticed over the years, is that a lot of people dont connect the things that they know, with what is going on around them. Politics has never been a real nice game to play. If you dont go too far back in time, you can study the histories of Byzantium, the Roman Senate, Constantinople, the medieval French, the Dutch trade guilds, the Medicis and Venice, and the British Empire. You can find these things throughout the history of China and Egypt as well. All of that intrigue, gamesmanship, financing, backstabbing, lying, cheating, and stealing? It didnt go away. By closely examining history, you can see the beginnings of a lot of our present day problems and how they all came to be. You can find historical references and even precedents for such political intrigues in the Bible.
What really upsets people who posture, pose, and intrigue, is when a man comes along who says what he means and means what he says. For some of them, it means that everything that they have been planning for years is suddenly meaningless. Decades, even generations of hard work, are suddenly wasted. Everything from backroom deals about whose relatives and associates go to what school, and when; to what branch of the service they join, where they serve, and who they serve under. They have them apprenticed under this political leader, that financier, lawyer, businessman or company. This does not include any sort of alliance, whether temporary or permanent, regarding anything else, including politics
or even who marries what. These things continue. They are happening around you now, this very moment.
You must understand that Mr. Bush is playing a dangerous game by not playing these games. He has many powerful people around the world upset with him over this. They are not only upset, they are frantic. To paraphrase somewhat, a good sign of who a man is, might be by actually taking a long, hard look, at who his enemies are. Many of Mr. Bushs enemies are liars, cheats, gluttons, coveters, and men and women of very ill repute. They are people and nations who dont care for anything more than what they can get for themselves, and for themselves alone. His enemies are mostly the declared enemies of God. They are all attempting to destroy The Constitution of the United States, which is based upon one thing: The primacy of God, and the primacy of true spirituality in our lives. A document based upon truth, free will, and freedom
from the life and soul destroying games of political intrigue, ambition, power, nepotism, self-aggrandizement, tyranny, and despotism. One of the ancestors of our freedom, in our original fight for liberty in this nation, once warned us not to become involved in any entanglements. The politicos in D.C., and around the nation, have all become entangled in many webs, with a staggering number of nations, peoples, financiers, and other power brokers, around the globe. Theyve also ensured that this nation is heavily involved in such entanglements, which will be almost impossible to safely break.
The President might not be much for outward appearances, or sweet-talking stylishness. When he says that hes going to do something, he seems to get it done. I like that characteristic in people. Mr. George W. Bush, just by being who he is, where he is, and when he is, has shaken all of that intrigue to its foundations. Those Gordian Knots of Intrigue are becoming unraveled. The bad news is, that it makes for a very dangerous situation in the real world. A lot of those people, nations, and power mongers, are desperate to get things back to normal, no matter what it takes to get the job done. The U.N. The Communists. The Socialists and Socialist Democrats. The financiers. The Muslims. All of their plans, all of their associations, all of their entanglements, are coming to light. In the meantime, they all seek new alliances, and begin new intrigues.
The dog I have in this hunt? Why, I want the truth to be known among all men. I want people to pay attention, to think clearly, and to think rationally. I want people like you to stop dancing in the dark. I want people like you to open your eyes to reality. Everything that you know is in danger. It has been for a long time. Everything that you count on is dust without freedom, liberty, and hope. The good Lord gave you free will. Its time that you opened your eyes, woke up, and used it.
True spirituality is not weakness. It is strength indeed. There is a time for peace, and there is a time for war. Your very lives are at stake. Your very souls lie presently under darkness. There can be no light without God in Christ. All else is falsehood. All else is meaningless. Mr. Bush knows this, and he walks in the light. However, Daniel in the lions den was in less danger than our nation is today. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were in less danger walking into the fire, than the danger that you and I are presently in, at this very moment. This nation is at war, not only against terrorists, but also against those who would destroy this nation, destroy you and yours, and take away your freedoms and liberties in Christ, once and for all. Aside from intervention by God in Christ, Mr. Bush is our best present hope for this nation.
I do not say this lightly, or in ignorance. I speak with full knowledge of the realities that we face, not only here, but also in every nation abroad. Believers die, they are imprisoned, beaten, tortured, each and every day in this world, for only believing. These things are happening now, in this world, and in this present reality. Everything that many believers in other nations have and know, is stolen from them every day and every night. Today, among many other things already lost to us all in this nation, there are laws restricting your freedom of religion as followers of Christ. There are presently laws in place, and being used, to re-write the history of God in this nation. There are presently bills before Congress that will be used by many to take away your right to freedom of religion, while allowing other religions to replace Christ and all that He has ever stood for in this nation.
Sleep on, if you will, but as for my house and me; we will serve the Lord. Myself, I have little fear of man, and I have no fear of death or of darkness. I know the Light. I do have fear for you, though. I do have fear for your freedom and for your very souls.
Im a watchman on the wall, America. Its time to wake up. Your lives and souls are in mortal danger. Do not act from fear, but in joy! The Lord has given you a great opportunity! Make sure you take advantage of it.

This week, Senator Rick Santorum and 37 other Catholic leaders delivered a message to Senator John Kerry about squaring his rhetoric with his actions.
It's clear that John Kerry wants Catholic voters to think that his faith informs his policy positions. Yet on a very core issue--supporting the culture of life--John Kerry actually sets aside his own reasoning and his faith, because it is a statement of the Catholic Church. John Kerry says life begins at conception, yet his own record in the Senate of voting against the partial birth abortion ban and Laci and Connor's Law contradicts his reasoning as well as the position of the Catholic Church--that life is sacred, and those most vulnerable require protection.
The open letter from Catholics helps to lift the fog on Kerry's doublespeak and set the record straight.

Dear Senator John Kerry:
America is a place of hope and opportunity for many reasons. Chief among them we are a people of great faith and that is what keeps us strong.
But while Americans have always been a religious people, our faith is tied to reason. We choose goodness and truth not only because faith tells us to, but also because doing otherwise would be inherently wrong.
Disagreements will always exist in the civic arena. How high the minimum wage? How to best provide educational opportunity for all? The appropriate level of taxation? These are decisions that we work out in the political process and upon which the Church has no specialized knowledge. As Catholics and as Americans we are called to discern the truth in public policy and to determine which candidate best addresses our concerns.
There are core truths, however, around which we as Catholics must rally. Not just because it is the word of the Church, but also because of reason. This is where we stand on opposition to abortion.
Innocent human life must always be protected. Senator John Kerry, you have said that life begins at conception, but you have persistently supported abortion and oppose all sensible restrictions on the practice.
You have voted six times against banning the barbaric practice of partial birth abortion. You voted to spend taxpayers dollars to fund abortion at least 25 times.
You opposed Laci and Conners Law, which protects pregnant women and their unborn babies from violent crimes.
In the most recent debate Senator Kerry, you said, "everything you do in public life has to be guided by your faith and that everything is a gift from the Almighty. But apparently, when it comes to the issue of the right to life, you follow neither your own faith nor your own reason.
Senator Kerry, your stand contradicts both your faith and reason.
As Americans and Catholics, both faith and reason lead us to President George W. Bush as the choice for life, compassion and justice for all. For that reason, we are urging fellow Catholics to join us in voting for the President on November 2.

That's great. Let's not forget about www.terrisfight.org. Terri's a Catholic and she and the Pope don't want her to die. Governor Bush was turned down today by the Florida Supreme Court. Is President Bush going to stand idly by while Terri is starved to death? Is John Ashcroft going to stand idly by while a young woman in good health is denied sustenance and MURDERED?

Governor Bush was turned down today by the Florida Supreme Court. >>
Yea, I heard the sad news on the radio today and now it's up to the SCOTUS, if they, Terri's parents, choose that route. Let's hope and pray that everything works out for Terri. Both the 5th and 14th amendments guarantee us a right to life and equal protection under the law so the law should be on Terri's side.
President Bush, John Ascroft and Speaker Hastert found Jesus, so they say, let's see what they can do "actions speak louder than words." This woman should not be forced into death by starvation, it's barbaric!
Thanks for the ping.
Scott Hahn used to be a Presbyterian , the Pres.. are supporting Arafat, would they also say ok to suicide bombers here? let me tell everyone, the Pope is not the antichrist. Once you get that straight maybe you can realize that freedom, our freedom is essential for anyone else's. Why get bent out of shape with destroying crosses in our buildings etc. , isn't the aclu a little bent out of shape? do I sound frazzled, thanks to the goofball Kerry and his cronies like Barbara Boxer, I am FRAZZLED! Just a wee bit. Thank God for Scott Hahn!! Long live freedom and not any ism!
Glad you on this board now!
It's clear that Jeb is logging our phone calls and came straight to the market where Terri resides to state his position. Everyone here is so afraid that Jeb is going to go wobbly on us. He hasn't yet but if it isn't in the courts, he won't use his executive powers. That's unfortunate.
God has his own executive powers and I'll be praying that he keeps using them to protect one of his children, Terri Schindler Schiavo until she's out of harm's way and can finally enjoy her life and liberty.
SEe Terri's videos at www.terrisfight.org and you can email www.advocacycenter.org with your complaints and comments.
My apologies to whomever started this thread. I didn't mean to change the topic but Terri is Catholic. I'm done here. fregards, FV
