Keryy will claim a lie and the public will see it as a Dirty Trick 3 days before the election

Worked for the dims - W's DWI in 2000 and the Lawrence Walsh indictments in 1992. Both 11th-hour democrat dirty tricks, both took votes from the GOP & damn near cost W the election.

Damnit, Kerry did NOT receive a "dishonorable discharge." He got an "other-than-honorable discharge." The two are different, like the difference between a misdemeanor and a felony.

We used to call the OTH an "administrative BCD." The Bad Conduct Discharge may be awarded to enlisted personnel at Special or General Court Martial. And, yes, conviction by SPCM or GCM is the equivalent of a felony.

And, one more thing, we don't know that he got an OTH. I still believe that this story may be the equivalent of LT Bush "deserting."

"Other than Honorable" is a classification of discharge in and of itself. Not my wording - the Navy's. If you want it changed, write 'em a letter.

* "Navy Chief is the real deal. He was the source for Thomas Liscomb's recent articles."

* "Is that speculation or confirmed?"

~~~~~~~
I'm quite certain that that is the case.
If so I think this may be THE HOLY GRAIL!!!!!
Wait, wasn't the Kerry affair story the Holy Grail? Or was it Gertz's story last week about Kerry and the Security Council?
I get so confused by these stories that will supposedly finish Kerry every other day and don't.
If true, this has legs for one reason: You can tie a story in to Kerry saying to Brokaw that his records are not public. It is that statement to Brokaw (combined with this, if it proves true) that will carry the story.
We'll see, but this could be it.
Exactly!
If true, then the headline "Kerry did not receive Honorable Discharge", is still big time bombshell.
"Damnit, Kerry did NOT receive a "dishonorable discharge." He got an "other-than-honorable discharge." The two are different, like the difference between a misdemeanor and a felony"
"Fine, sKerry received a less than honorable discharge, still a home run if you ask me."
Personally, Kerry will simply say, that I was given a less than honorable discharge because I was protesting the war.
I think the records have to show something worse.
His association with the communist north vietnamese then and now should be enough. THe MSM didn't get to excited about that, therefore this rumor will not catch water either..hope I'm wrong, but that's my opinion.
Is a "general" discharge also considered an "other than honorable" discharge ??
Just so you know, not only SwiftVets think he is a fraud. There are many ex Navy river folk (myself included) that can tell his stories are a crock.
No offense to you, but did you ever serve on a river in Vietnam? I did. And I think Kerry is a liar. He was a ticket puncher. Prove he earned the 3 PHs by releasing his medical records and I'd be happy to respect him.
