After today (10/29)...Now I'm calling it for Bush 350 to 188!

After the revelations of today, 10/29/04, where a US Army Major revealed that his unit had destroyed 250 tons of munitions at the Al QaQua facility, and after the latest Osama bin Laden video...I am revising my election prediction upward for Bush. I honestly believe that many more Americans will vote for Bush after Bin Laden spouted the Kerry/DNC/Michael Moore talking points, and after Kerry's knee jerk reation regarding the munitions have been wholly discredited.

It's New Jersey, not Delaware, I think.

In any case I was looking at Jeff's map, and the only differences between my 310 and his 350 are his inclusions for Bush wins in NJ, PA, and Hawaii (40 EVs).

In any case, I don't see Bush winning all three (and in fact, my gut says that if he wins only one, it will be PA). Honestly, I don't see him willing any of those three.

Bush is still good for 310 EVs and the championship. :-)

I totally agree with NJ going blue. After the tapes, it will be interesting how NY comes out vs the polls.

I think it is possible for Bush to break 300, especially when you see the way the Democrats are scrambling to hang onto blue states like Hawaii and even New Jersey.

350 might be pushing it, but I would be cheering if it did happen. I hope that 300 EV's is theft-proof.

Along with one electoral vote from Maine... that should make it 369. Although Bush can lose a couple of states and win in a squeaker I want to see Kerry crushed and to hear the lamentations of his women.

Yep. Any figure over 300 EV will persuade the legions of lawyers to stay home. Obviously the more the better. 350 might be pushing it but its doable. What we need is a massive GOP GOTV on Tuesday. Sitting and talking about a blowout won't make it happen.

I think it's possible that Bush may also take Oregon and Washington. I saw one poll a few days ago with Bush ahead 5 points in Oregon (it was on KGW, don't remember which poll). And all the other polls are pretty close in Oregon...
