Has anyone started a database for what we have seen in the past few days? (Vanity)
Me

I think it would be a good idea if someone would start to put together a database of the vile, hateful articles, editorials, blogs and opinion pieces we have seen over the past few days.

I, and most of you, have seen this tripe from the NYT, Salon, Slate and several other online newspapers.

I think archiving such nuggets might prove very handy when memories have become faded over the next few years.

I would do it, but I'm fairly a Newb here and don't know the full extent of the websites to find most of what we have seen and heard.

What do ya'll think?

Hell, I'm wishing I had a data base for all we've witnessed this year, since the Democrat's national primaries... back in the spring ...

I don't have the time, but an especially fun list would be the left-wing pieces previously praising Kerry that are now ripping him to shreds. I've seen at least two "Democratic strategists" on TV recently doing just that, or if not ripping Kerry going full blast at Teresa or Kerry's daughters. Much more deserving of the adjectives thrown at the swift vets probably by these same people, it addresses more personal aspects as opposed to character flaws.

I would like to see MSM pay a big price for all the lies and hatred towards America they've expelled.

We could write a book. Trouble is, dont want to give away our secret "reason" (the dims really dont know)
for voting for Pres. Bush. But we could, make that a sequel to come out in 2009, after the next presidential election.

Ann Coulter will probably take care of that for you within the next few months.

I wish us little people could have access to Lexis-Nexis, like the big boys. I would be willing to pay a reasonable subscription rate.

Free Republic it is.

I have been book marking these nutball articles.

Now, when I say to someone that the left has gone over the cliff I can prove it by sending links by Email.

I live in Washington state and I need to send these to people I know who need education.

The vicious, hateful bile is nothing new. We're hearing rehash from the past. Only the names are changed.

In modern times, Democrats hated Reagan and Bush-41 as much as Bush-43.

(Those were the days of print and TV. Cable was just being deployed -- the Governments role in this was lead by Reagan and Bush-41. The Internet was fledgling. Nixon started Internet development by allowing the DoD to fully fund DARPANET. Ford continued the funding. Carter actually hindered it with a couple of budget cuts, not because he knew what DARPANET was, but just because Carter cut everything with "Defense" in its name. Then, Reagan funded Defense fully including DARPANET, which proved its potential and became the Internet we know and use.)

The MSM was the only media. The MSM was just as biased as it is now. Basically, the MSM has been trying to sell Socialism to Americans since the mid 1960s, but Americans are too smart to fall for it. (Some would say since Franklin Roosevelt, and they might be right.) Our Best presidents, except Washington, have all been vilified and won first terms narrowly. Examples are Jefferson, who became President by one vote in the House, and Lincoln. There are Source-books in the library that reprint newspaper articles about Jefferson from 1800-1803; Awful stuff. It is understandable the Lincoln would be hated by the Southern press, but surprising how many Northerners hated him.

About Lincoln, though, the British newspapers were nastier than even the Southern papers. They said all the things about Lincoln (incompetent, dumb, lazy, radical, fanatic, etc.) that British newspapers are saying about Bush-43.

By the way, in thinking about who should succeed Bush-43 in 2008, one excellent criterion would be which Republican conservative the British newspapers hate the most. (They didn't like T. Roosevelt either.)

So, the hate-speech from the liberals just proves they are sinking into insignificance. Democratic Party's only power comes from the big city machine governments. When conservatives win those, the Democrats will be no more.

Here's a fast grab of my stuff:

( Geez! There were so many, I got tired of linking them- for the full story so to the "last" here and work backwards-- DUBOB 11- more tales from the Dark UnderBelly Of the Beast... )

Anyway:

"It's All Your Fault" Moveonplease.org: First Funny Thing National Lampoon has Written Since 1978  Read the rest of the site - it is RAZOR sharp parody. They have really gotten the tone of bitter liberals down perfectly  Reminds me of the Thread I started on the angry anti-bush site "www.smirkingchimp.com" thursday night: "Friends, I Think it's Time To Kill Ourselves"

So you wanna be a Canuck, eh? Here's simple test for you blue-staters who want to secede

Medved just nailed the issue. If Palast is right, why did Kerry concede. This is especially true in the 2000 election. A sitting VP concedes when his biggest supporter is the POTUS. If the election was stolen, why would Gore and Clinton concede? The only logical conclusion is they wanted Bush to win, which is of course looney tunes.

Flashback 11/16/1992 - Clinton's "Mandate For Change" (So when does the MSM say this about GWB?)   We should thank the folks at Time Magazine, along with everyone else who wrote stupid articles like that back in 1992.

Well, 51 percent of you, anyway.

The unteachable ignorance of the red states.  Someone else on this board, wish I could remember his moniker - absolutely nailed leftist intellectualist dimwits like this. He said they exhibit pathological strains of classic projection. All the profound failings and vices of the left are projected onto us, in such jaw-droppingly brazen fashion, that we are usually left stuttering at their colossal disconnect with their own character, which they interpret as an inability to refute their stream of wacko consciousness - as they skedaddle from one ludicrous accusation to the next.

I know I am preaching to the choir but it is truly amazing and baffling how out of touch these people are with mainstream America. They are so condescending.

Liberalism really is a serious mental illness.

 It's time for healing
Real simple and in single syllables:
We won. You lost. We lead. You follow.
Lets not forget the insults and the slanders from the other side. I think we are due an apology and its up to them to come to us, not the other way round.

One DUmmie comes to grips with reality
If I understand this diatribe correctly, since America doesn't go along with his ideals, he feels no duty to support the country that has given him economic opportunity, an education, freedom from fear of the Gestapo kicking in his door at 3 am, kept his sorry butt safe from the evils that the world's tyrants would seek to impose on him and so forth ........ all because this country doesn't bow down and worship his faultless logic (/sarcasm) and vision of the country's future.
