It wasn't Christmasy at all..it was a picture taken at a rally.

Merry Christmas to you too and a Happy New Year.

Christmas is so... last millenium.
Up Kwanza. Up Cupid. Up Donner and Blitzen.
Festivus for the rest of us.

But really, I agree with your question. I remember JFK lighting the national Christmas tree, and there was none of the sad pusillanimity about celebrating Christmas that afflicts this administration. If this is what we have come to now, imagine what we will be asked to give up when Dubya gets his guest worker program and the 'diversity' goes up tenfold.

I guess it depends on how serious your belief in Christ is. For me it is serious. For you and President Bush, it doesn't mean much.

And who, pray tell, set you up to be a judge about how serious anyone's faith in Christ is? Belief doesn't mean much. Devils also believe, yet tremble. (James 2:19)

That job belongs to the LORD, and He doesn't need any help from either of us in judging the sincerity of our individual faith in Him.

In the end, it pains me to see how unChristian like we can act towards one another. And this holiday is supposed to celebrate His Birth, yet you couldn't tell it by how some of us act.
