Dick Morris wants the most unelectable Republican possible.
He is a Clinton loyalist, always and forever.

Absolutely correct!

THE ABSURDITY OF HILLARY
(What the media and Dick Morris aren't telling us about Obama-clinton numbers.)

THE DRAMATIC INCREASE IN HILLARY CLINTON'S DISCLOSED ASSETS: An Alternative Theory

IS DICK MORRIS AN IDIOT? OR IS HE STILL ON THE CLINTON PAYROLL?

What's black and white and read all over and is more self-destructive than pre-9/11 thinking?
Pre-clinton thinking, that's what....
Putting doctrinal purity ahead of making sure a defective and dangerous clinton never again controls this country is pre-clinton thinking.
We no longer have the luxury of time or circumstance to massage our sensibilities, to indulge our indignations.
We will not survive another clinton. (We may yet not survive the first one.)

You are confused. Dick Morris is not married to Mary Matlin, James Carville, "the ragin cajin" is.

Dick Morris does not, in the end support Hillary, he has made a medium size career of mocking her, taunting her, telling everyone who will listen she must be stopped. This can not be faked, sorry.

HER BOOK:

HIS BOOK: A rebuttal:

Here is what the Amamzon summary says, in part: Hillary Clinton, in Morris's view, is a much more insecure, disingenuous, and calculating creature than "Hillary," the palatable political product that won election to the Senate in 2000 and she's also an inferior politician to her husband... he refutes many passages in her book with his own accounts of what transpired and indicts her integrity and behavior dating back to Bill Clinton's early career in Arkansas.

His other book (actually he only wrote the intro, the rest is her quotes and someone else is the editor). Look at the cover. You don't have to even READ either of these books to see her in a bad light!

Please give the man credit for being on the right side of something!

Why is this, then, an impossible position for Huckabee?

One thing is that the money has gotten real big...real fast if your not a star like Obama or Rudy your DOA financially.

2nd...I think after 16 years the electorate is tired of Southern governors.

Some here at FR seem to think that victory is worth surrendering conservatism.

Dittos. Worth repeating.

Sessions hasn't made any noise about running. Hunter has announced.

More's the pity, because Sessions was The Man during last year's Senate amnesty debate, and is a true conservative. Being from The Heart of Dixie is a disadvantage, as the competitive states are in the North, and we've had 16 years of Southern presidents. Sessions might make an attractive VP candidate for a Giuliani or Romney if either feels the need to shore up support with the South or with the Right (or for McCain, if he wants to balance his ticket by adding someone who is sane).

OK. Dick Morris proabably does not hate Hillary as much as you do, I will grant you that. His polemics, while incendiary, are not nuclear, as your are.

And yes, he misinterprets a lot of things, and doesn't always have the best advice.

Still I do not think he is a closet Hillary mole. Too much really negative stuff has poured forth from his lips on Fox, CNN, MSNBC, etc.

I'd vote for Hillary before those two.

She'd be the only one in the race with a set of balls.

One thing is that the money has gotten real big...real fast if your not a star like Obama or Rudy your DOA financially. 2nd...I think after 16 years the electorate is tired of Southern governors.

Rudy supposedly wants $100 million in his war chest. Realistially you need a big dollop to start: maybe $15 to get to South Carolina. Then many pretenders are gone and the R money flows to the one or two who have a shot.

It's probably harder than starting out with $50 million on July 1, 2007 but still doable.

Remember Dick Army was the clear money leader inthe 2000 (??) GOP primary race and made that famous quip: "I have the best support you can have for a Presidential run, ready cash". and was never heard from again.

Obama is going to be hard to beat no matter who the Rep is. I really wonder about the intelligence of running a 72 year old man against the young, handsome, vibrant, black, asian, bi-racial, sexy, hot (add additional ingratiating MSM descriptions here) "rock star" of our era.

Yeah, I think "no twang" is required diction in this election, too.

from Boston.com

"On Friday, an e-mail from Mitt Romney’s sons suggested that whoever the Republican presidential nominee is will have to raise $100 million.

Hunter said he wouldn’t need to raise that kind of money because “most of that money goes to pay for consultants that help them look like they are conservative and I am conservative already.”

LOL! I've read a few posts, I don't think I have the time to read the whole thread, but if we were to follow some of the "chosen candidates" on this thread, not only we would surrender ALL our conservative principles under an assured Democrat take over, but there won't be much conservatism left in the country to speak of with the Rats in the House, the Senate, and the White House.

Dick Morris' advice isn't simply not 'the best.' It's the worst.
But he isn't stupid. And he isn't ignorant. So you have to ask why...

I don't think he's a 'hillary mole.' I think he's a bill mole (notwithstanding the fact that he believes bill's refusal to confront terrorism was a major--perhaps fatal--failure.

I'm not sure Morris understands the danger of hillary clinton, but he seem to truly despise her.

A more accurate comparison of our feelings about hillary clinton would be this: Morris despises hillary clinton because of what she has done to him personally; I find both clintons utterly repugnant for what they have done to our country, to our people, to our children.

Session wouldn't be a Conservative if he became the V.P for the candidacies of McKerry or Guiliani, Romney. (Just being honest)..

I believe an America first 3rd party candidate got around 25% of the vote in '92. All of these people who are sooooo afraid of Hitlery are pathetic. Her charming, charismatic, political genius husband never got over 49% of the vote. There is NO WAY that the unlikable, communist ice queen can win unless we nominate a big government globalist which in turn creates a conservative border hawk 3rd party candidate.
