I was listening to the news out of the corner of my ear when I heard FreeRepublic specifically mentioned as a "hate site" about fifteen minutes ago.
Ostensibly the long report was about the Klan using the web to recruit new wackos. Then the focus turned to Casa Maryland, and their director who claimed that calls for his murder had circulated on the internet by anti-immigrant bigots. It was then that the anchor identified FR by name as a hate site.
I agree. I suspect that somehow Hillary (or at least the DNC) is behind these preemptive attacks. The trick is in proving it sometime this century.

The culture war is an important issue to us, too and I believe he’s serious about it.
I’m not willing to throw him aside though I’m furious with him about his attacks on FR.
But our cause needs all the help it can get. He at least points out SOME liberal idiocies. I’d rather encourage him in that than throw him totally aside.
But I’m determined for him to realize that he blew it vis a vis FR.
If Shrillery thought she could get away with it, I think we’d be on her ‘termination list’ in a microsecond. The goons would be sent out to do her standard bidding.
Thankfully, we still have our guardian angels on duty as we seek God first and to follow His priorities.
I think FR is still a wonderful Godly priority for helping preserve our beloved Republic.
I agree, but I don't agree that Hillary's incapable of such tactics. I think she fully understands the power of free speech and learned a good lesson from our friends behind the Swift Boat book.

This reminds me of that FOX station in LA’s report on the “Anonymous Hackers on Steriods,” A.K.A. 4chan a few weeks ago. I lol’d. The old media doesn’t quite understand the internets and all its tubes.
Actually, I vividly remember her dramitic shift toward the center (if you can call it that) about a year after her election to the Senate. I was amazed at how dramatic and swift that shift was and even more amazed at how many people bought it.

You may be correct there. And I would hope not. But since he is afterall an entertainer, no conclusions can be drawn either way.

That is something I think he is definitely very parochial about. And dangerously so.
I think it comes from his early years in broadcasting as well as his Roman Catholicism . . . AUTHORITY is right.
. . . is not always correct.
I’ve not come up with a strategy or logic to persuade him otherwise. But I think it’s worth some prayerful pondering.
Perhaps attacking it from the culture war standpoint might help him see the light.
