I was listening to the news out of the corner of my ear when I heard FreeRepublic specifically mentioned as a "hate site" about fifteen minutes ago.
Ostensibly the long report was about the Klan using the web to recruit new wackos. Then the focus turned to Casa Maryland, and their director who claimed that calls for his murder had circulated on the internet by anti-immigrant bigots. It was then that the anchor identified FR by name as a hate site.
. heres how my day went....
After a great week at work battling wits
Today was the hottest day of the year at the beach, #1 day IMO, I live 4 miles from the beach in southern california ... I started off the saturday as usual the way I would choose, (if I knew I had only a few weeks to live).... I spent 2 hours puttering in the garage having coffee It got hot(80+)prepped up the bicycle knowing it was a good day for the beach and headed out,...almost had an accident heading out of the driveway, the row of SUVs blocked the view of the low profile sports car, we both stopped in time as I rode the bike out the driveway , then waited for the speedy low sports car guy to finish his tizzy fit.
I rode my bike another 8 miles along the beach past a few piers up to a bar and for some reason I went into comedy mode and I had a lot of people laughing at the upstairs bar overklooking the pier and surf, the bartender and a lot of opeople were buying me beers,
I rode back down along the strand of beach, checking out babes that looked HOT, trying not to seem like a perv/stalker, there are homes along the "strand" with lots of young people playing music and partying, ... i saw a group PARTYING AND PLAYING MY TYPE OF MUSIC AND EVEN THOUGH THEKIDS WERE YOUNG ENOUGH TO BE MY KIDS, stopped and asked for a beer, they were way cool and let me in, , they had a pony keg going and it was starting to get warm, I rode my bike over to a store and came back with four bags of ice to dump on the keg.....I made friends with these kids , they reminded me of my old yute buddies I saw some hot looking babes ( too yung for me) coming off the sand and told them we had a party going, they were visiting from Japan and Taiwan and I introduced them to the host of the party and they hit it off right away... i rode on A few miles later at the next pier south, i heard some hotaz heavy metal rock and the band was playing some really good Robin Trower, , so I headed on down to the marina level to check it out. Good band, one chick dancing by herself with about 300 patrons watching, I went up to the stage, puit a five in the jar, klooked the front man in the eye and flipped him the bird.... dude... he loved that, he just flipped me back and played lead guitar and vocals all the harder ....at the end of the set they annoanced a break and he walked by me, shook my hand and said," thanks " I went out at break and mingled with some harley types, met some fried jaded rocker chick about my age ( over 50) then got bored at the long break and pedaled on..... I went off the bike path and through this nice park, lots of latinos were playing soccer in the grass and barbeqiueing, kids all over, I stopped next to a barbeQ to check it out and they had a lot of corn going, they only spoke spanish, but offered me a roasted corn and it was good, i said " me amore, muchas gracias" the ladies giggled and i moved along, there was a mob of black folks in the same park barbeqing and I stopped next to the barby to savor the aroma , the bro told me to move along "private party" , but another cat gave me a plate of ribs and beans.....man that was good !, I stopped at the next piknik table with the ladies and wolfed it down...chatted some small talk and moved on....

Thank for your conservative positions on most things, sir, but someone who enters our country illegally, bypassing immigration, medical, and law enforcement clearance sure as hell is not pure as the driven snow in my view.
This should be no surprise... ANY group or individual who disagrees with the left is said to be a hater, bigot, homophobe, etc. Remember there was a call to jail those who didn’t believe in “global warming”? The left is becoming more and more hysterical in their attacks. Remember the old communist politicos and how they used highly charged rhetoric when speaking? I was struck about how measured our elected leaders were in comparison - reasoned, factual. Now many of our elected officials on the left sound more and more like the ranting communists of old.
Was thinking that every illegal alien could be placed on a strict probation for a period of time...say 60 months... with any felony crime resulting in incarceration and then deportation.
I guess we can be termed hate mongers because we actually believe in the rule of law!

Fox news tends to be shouting liberals dressed with neckties. Over here I have to tune to France 25 to get world news, Fox is too busy having a shouting match over what kind of dress Opra wore last week.
Pretty bad when you do not hear of earthquakes in diverse places, or political coups over nations except on foreign news stations.
The sheeple are asleep, would not want to wake them up with news about Russia fielding Nuclear Jets off shore, or other world events less important than what Britany Spears said to a waitress last week. Why there is so little happening around the world, we can discuss what Britany said all week 24 hours a day!

That's why I posted in post 706 about the lawsuit FR won over the City of Fresno calling it a hate site. I'd think that a court ruling that FR is not a hate site is a good defense to start with.
