I was listening to the news out of the corner of my ear when I heard FreeRepublic specifically mentioned as a "hate site" about fifteen minutes ago.
Ostensibly the long report was about the Klan using the web to recruit new wackos. Then the focus turned to Casa Maryland, and their director who claimed that calls for his murder had circulated on the internet by anti-immigrant bigots. It was then that the anchor identified FR by name as a hate site.
I hate actions.
I hate the actions of those who would quit in the middle of a fight. Just because you quit, does not mean your enemy will. I hate the actions of those who will kill the unborn baby. I hate the actions of those who would take my gun away. I hate the actions of those who would remove God from public view. I hate the actions of professor’s who mislead our kids. I hate the actions of judges who legislate from the bench. I hate the actions of those who blame America first.
I don’t hate those people who do those things, but I do not have to like what they do. I do not have to accept what they do. I have the right to speak too. I may get angry sometimes and say things I should not, but it is my right to be stupid too. God forbid we take a liberals right to be stupid away. And I have never seen any person on this site make reference to hating a person because of the color of skin or anything like that. The only hate I have seen is hate towards actions and sometimes towards those who act like a pin head; but of course, only because of emotion.
And why can’t I talk about the actions that I hate without be label a hater? I see others talk about the things that they hate and they are not labeled haters.
Well put. I’d add my own suspicion that he is only on the air to give conservatives (in the form of alleged conservatives) a bad name with his behavior.

I think he’s much more of a complex figure than meat-axe slicing and dicing him into an absolutely EITHER/OR response would consign him to.
I guess, as a shrink, I find him interesting even though infuriating plenty.

I’m not sure which website you’re reading from, but I have never read anything along those lines. Nor have I ever known a freeper to talk like that.

Cheney does have an earthy genuineness that is lacking in other politicians...I love the fact that he has no problem speaking out against liberals, but does it in a serious, substantial way without resorting to ad hominem attacks.

If I thought they were really concerned about hate sites that would be one thing but their agenda is one of shutting down opposition to their Marxist agenda and are doing the very thing that motivates ALL liberals, hatred of all that is right and good which constitutes a threat to their continued upside down existence.
