"Is that different than one-half loaded or one-quarter loaded?"Some machine guns can be half-loaded and possibly some machine gunners could be fully loaded.

"The Koreans were in Flushing, but moved to Bayside..." Was there a reason? I used to live in Bayside. Just curious.

All that sounds like a typical Sunday afternoon at the Arroyo for me.
Amazing what gets people all exercised these days.

Police found a fully-loaded machine gun, assault rifles, shot guns, handguns, more than 29,000 rounds, gas masks, and police radios among other illegal items in his car and apartment. They'd have $h!t if they had raided my house. That is if there were any of them left.

Did ya have a Happy New Year Eeeek ?Yeah I did and hope you did too.
After looking at this thread I realize that I need more weapons. I have the .32 revolver and a box thing of .22L ........ whatever the heck that means.
We sent the steak knives to China because Ma said the kids were starving there.
I stay confused. Oh well, no guns here .........

I’m in Great Neck. Northern Blvd from the eastern edge of Flushing out to Lakeville Road is rapidly becoming all Korean all the time. It’s fine with me for a ton of reasons.

I must say I am impressed with Chuang's 29,000 rounds of ammo. I haven't been that diligent.

What is a semi-automatic assualt rifle?
If it's not select fire, it's just semi-automatic that looks scary. (Not a complaint, I live in New York City, and next to a school. I'm surprised that let me own a chef's knife.)

Well, that’s not an assault rifle either. It’s more like a largist self defense carbine. In fact, even the select fire version was designed for individual self defense, not “assaults”. Pretty much the same mission requirements as the M1 Carbine of WW-II, but with a full auto requirement, like the M2 Carbines of the Korean and Vietnam wars, among others.

The ending of the story changes when you read from the NY Sun's regular webpage version to the printer friendly version.
NY Sun's regular webpage version: After arresting him, police searched Mr. Chuang's home at 135-11 40th Road, where they said they found an arsenal that included at least nine guns, including an automatic machine gun and 20,000 rounds of assorted ammunition, along with 40 large combat knives, bullet proof vests, and six police-type radios.
Mr. Chuang is being charged with criminal possession of a weapon. It was unclear if he had a lawyer representing him. Police said they had no information about the reason Mr. Chuang had collected the weapons.
The NY Sun's printer friendly version: After arresting him, police then searched Mr. Chuang's home, at 135-11 40th Road, where they said they found an arsenal that included at least nine guns, including an automatic machine gun and a Glock handgun stolen from upstate. Also found were more than 28,000 rounds of assorted ammunition, 40 large combat knives, bulletproof vests, and six police-type radios.
The commanding officer of the Organized Crime Investigation Division, Inspector Brian O'Neill, said police were investigating whether he was selling guns out of his home.
"There weren't any price tags on them," he said, but added: "We are looking at the idea that he may have been dealing in these firearms."
Police said it appeared Mr. Chuang is unemployed, although they said he was in the U.S. Army for three years. He has been charged with criminal possession of a weapon.
Arsenal found during arrest in Flushing Newsday has 11 pics for the story from a freelancer showing piles of hardware and ammo. I wasn't impressed. This story doesn't smell right. I won't be surprised if Bloomberg tries to make the most of it this weekend in Oklahoma.
Yahoo News had a total of 9 stories about Suwei Chuang
