The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey in Florida shows former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney earning 33% of the vote while Arizona Senator John McCain attracts 27%.The poll was conducted Saturday afternoon before Florida Governor Charlie Crist announced his endorsement of McCain and the race is fluid enough that both men have a realistic chance of winning on Tuesday. Rasmussen Markets data showed that expectations for a McCain victory rose following the Crist announcement.

“But rumor is, Jeb and his crew ARE working with Mitt. There is stil hatred and distrust of McCain, in the Bush family.”

Tonight on FOX is the special, “Fighting To The Finish” by Bret Baier. It is an hour interview with President Bush.
President Bush does not encorse any candidate but does “supposedly” speak well of one candidate. That is the tease Baier put out on FOX today.

They’re both past their “use by” date, and I’m just sick of seeing both of them.

You're instinct is correct.

Not to sound like a Dem, but we DO need a change in Washington DC...... on the Republican side.

McCain has been leading Washington DC around by its nose hairs the past 20 years, and its time to get some fresh conservative outside leadership.

Which is why Romney seems such a good, fresh choice.

Who is Mitt Romney, really?

What would he really do, as President?

Anyone have an idea we can be sure about?

Bill Kristol says Thompson is going to endorse Romney.

CNN is running a crawl saying the same thing.

I must have woken up in a parallel universe. A liberal from Massachusetts who suddenly “sees” the Republican light and pom-poms come out for the guy. Amazing.

You must be young. I remember when a guy from very liberal California "saw the light" and became a conservative. His name was Reagan. I lived in TX and never would have voted for a Calif Governor till my Sacramento brother called me and told me Ronnie was the man. Time and life can change all of us.

Most of the places you rate Romney with a 10, he earns a 5, at best, from me. The key word is “Unreliable.”

Look, I will cast a vote for Romney, mainly because the alternatives are far worse. Don’t know if that will stop anything anyway. I doubt it.

We are being fed Billary, it has been decided, we get to vote merely to amuse us and keep us from rising up.

So, I will vote Romney, I live in Indiana, He hasn’t had a chance to personally stab me yet, our Governor RINO, who worked for Bush, has already done so.

Bill Kristol says Thompson is going to endorse Romney.

If that is the case, I lose all respect for Senator Thompson.

Rove is not correct on McCain. Many conservatives will not support him. Independents will not support him either. Independents will support the rat nominee. I will support any other candidate except McCain.

Agree. Rove is shoveling spin and wishful thinking.

Reagan “saw the light” much further from the election. Aside from that, when Reagan “saw the light” it changed his behavior. He did not continue to do the same things while spouting new dogma. He also did not have to change his postion on almost his entire political philosophy.

Who else does Fred have to endorse? Lets see, he has McCain, Rudy, Romney or Huck.

Since Huck is still kicking and whining Fred took his votes, and considering what Fred has on his sites, I wouldn’t look for him to embrace Huckabee.

If I were Fred,I would come out an just list who I would never endorse!

Huh? Even way back there was a huge difference between liberal and conservative. Ronald had to change a great deal to change parties. Were you around when he campaigned?

CNN crawl saying Thompson to endorse Romney.

If true we may be looking at a Romney/Thompson ticket. Imo that would be an unbeatable ticket against the crooked Clinton machine in November.

Rasmussen has one of the better track records. It’s ARG you can ignore.
