The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey in Florida shows former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney earning 33% of the vote while Arizona Senator John McCain attracts 27%.The poll was conducted Saturday afternoon before Florida Governor Charlie Crist announced his endorsement of McCain and the race is fluid enough that both men have a realistic chance of winning on Tuesday. Jeb will not go anywhere near the ticket.

In fact that line “Jeb is supposedly working with Romney” will never be allowed to be seen as true unless the MSM can drag it out, kicking and screaming.

Mitt is as RINO as it can possibly get, but he has nice hair.

One or two less than conservative position does not a RINO make. Romney is infinately better than Hillary and considerably better than the other GOP candidates remaining.

Rove is not correct on McCain. Many conservatives will not support him. Independents will not support him either. Independents will support the rat nominee. I will support any other candidate except McCain.

Romney governed in rat land so I give him some slack. McCain has been elected in a conservative state so I do not give him any slack. He is wrong on almost every issue especially immigration. Numbers USA gives McCain an F on immigration, the same grade given to the rats. In contrast, Numbers USA gives Romney a high B grade. McCain’s age will also be a huge negative factor.

You're quoting the (largely meaningless) national numbers. He's posted the Florida numbers. Two different things.

The speech Mitt gave about religion was historic, Chris Matthews, of all people, said that thsi was the first time in this long campaign that he heard greatness. Eleanor Clift, shock of shock, was in tears, she was so moved. I have met Eleanor, and believe it or not, she is a lot nicer than what you might think.

But rumor is, Jeb and his crew ARE working with Mitt. There is stil hatred and distrust of McCain, in the Bush family.

We are going to witness years of hard work by the left to destroy any idea of a two party system in America.

In November of 2008, the Communist control over the US will be complete, people just don’t know it yet.

We will have, quite frankly, a one party system. Hey do you want to vote for Putin?, or else you can vote for Putin. Geesh, people do not see it because they have been dumbed down so bad, they are unable to.

Rove thought they could force amnesty down our throats, too.

He was wrong.

Please read this speech and you might just reconsider. I did and it has made me feel better about voting for Romney on Tuesday.

Same here, I haven’t voted yet, I will on Tuesday and it will be for Romney. Some of my family have already voted for Romney, and some will vote for him on Tuesday. Also, voting yes on the tax cut. Charlie Crist will be luckly to get my vote next time, the guy is a rino and will have no effect on my family. I sure hope it is the kiss of death for McCain!!!

I must have woken up in a parallel universe. A liberal from Massachusetts who suddenly “sees” the Republican light and pom-poms come out for the guy.

You expressed my thoughts exactly in this. Romney as the nominee can say good bye to 1/4 to 1/2 of the Evangelical vote. President Bush won by doubling the number of Blacks voting for him and hanging on to that Evangelical vote. Romney likely will not win the general. If he does, he will revert to form: Spouting Conservative platitudes while doing nothing to actually support them.

Understood- but remember- the part of Florida that will vote for McCain based somewhat on an endorsement by Crist- never heard of Liz Cheney.

I’m just in the dumps. Still smarting from Fred leaving- working on “getting over it”...

And Romney WILL appeal to all factions, a lot more than McCain, Rudy, or Huck. And if Hillary is the nom, and I think she will be, that will unify all factions right there. Romney also holds the Red States, put Mass on the table, and probably carries Michigan. He goes to the WH right there. Also, he would have a great shot of taking Minnesota, and Wisconsin. Remember, he is from MIchagan, and the Romney name is gold up in the Upper Mid-West.

We can't rest easy yet. Things are fluid and MSM blaring of the Crist and big FL newspapers' McCain endorsements still have to be digested by the FL late-deciders.

You want blanket amnesty? No borders? You want to coddle terrorists? Vote for McCain.
Electing McCain will destroy what remains of our sovreignty.

I'd sooner be waterboarded than vote for McCain.

Same here, hubby and I will be voting for Mitt when the primary comes to Texas. We will vote for the Republican in the general, whomever that turns out to be (as I have said over and over).

I said “Go Fred Go” and ‘poof’ Fred was gone!

He R.U.NN O.F.T!
