Guide to Survive our Future Socialist Government
February 25, 2008 | Isara

Posted on 02/25/2008 2:41:29 PM PST by Isara

Folks, whether you avoid thinking about it or not, we may be governed by socialists in all three branches of our government next year. We are going to get a Liberal administration one way or another. We already have Liberal judges all over the country. In the worst-case scenario, we would also get a bigger-margin Democratic congress with Liberals in the leadership positions. As conservatives we don't feel doom and gloom all the time as Liberals do (except now they have 'hope and change'). Lives go on. A good thing about being a conservative is that we prepare for a rainy day.

We can't do anything to change the mess that is going on in our country overnight. It is an accumulation of the ills in the society, planned or unplanned, from mal-education to entitlement mentality, Oprahfication, dishonest media, immorality, multi-culturalism, political correctness, motivations initiated by envy, fear and/or hatred and so on. It seems that all the fruits of these errors are going to ripen at the same time.

Let's brainstorm what may happen and prepare for it right now. We still have almost a year to do whatever necessary to protect our families and ourselves. Hopefully, we still have strength left afterwards to reclaim our country back to be a shining city upon the hill again.

The only way to protect America against a communistic take over by the Obama camp is to hope Obama suffers a Brown -like airplane ride!

Oh, and make sure you remain totally anonymous on websites like...this one. That'll come in handy too.

Ummmm, websites like this one will be banned.

That won't even be necessary. Since it's headquartered in California, the Mexican occupation government will turn their machete gangs loose on any FReepers who dare to remain in Azatlan-controlled territory.

Enjoy it- and make use of it as a resource- while you can. But do not assume that it's a permanent fixture.

Someting I’ve been doing for all my adult life is raising my own food. My wife and I have honey bees and raise our own vegetables. We have a cellar full of canned goods, onions, garlic, potatoes, honey. We pay no taxes on any crops we raise for ourselves. Plant a garden.

Get ready to liquidate any stock holdings the day that it becomes clear that Obama will get the nod.

Inflation is my problem. Any inflation ideas would be appreciated.

The current administration has cut the interest on my investment income and under calculated the current inflation in SS checks as 2.3%. That’s 0 for 2. I don’t know what socialism will bring but I’m getting screwed now by the Bush version of capitalism.

I would begin moonshining, but everything you could ferment would already be so sky high and rationed.

No, it’s a song by Mike and the Mechanics from the 80s.

Great song, always relevant and seemingly moreso than ever.

“Silent Running” is the name.

All my friends and my children too!!!! When my very large pantry is full of staples and I have 10 cords of wood in the woodshed, somehow I feel very smug. We had a moose and a deer this fall and with the help of two freezers ( don’t know what I’d do if electricity became scarce) we have eaten very reasonably this winter. We have cooked much of our food on a wood range which was originally intended to enhance our log home decor. People make fun of me and I tell them that they have expensive hobbies while my hobby is saving money and I get just as much pleasure from my hobby as they get from theirs.

Thank you!

The Free Sate Project picked New Hampshire. It's too bad. The state is gone to the dark side from immigrants from Massachusetts. I heard this morning that they are thinking about having state income tax.

Inflation is my problem. Any inflation ideas would be appreciated.

From my limited knowledge, investment in precious metal, real estate and valuable arts is safe during inflation period.
