Yeah, but you know the media is going to say “See! She is not a good parent. She can’t be governor and mom let alone VP and mom!”
I wonder if they told McCain during the vetting process?

If the only thing the libs can get on her is that her daughter fooled around out of wedlock, then they are in deep trouble.
You know. You can try to teach your kids the right way to go and, for some reason, they will do what they want to do anyway. Bristol is a teenager with free will. Her parents may have taught her to wait until she was married but she, being a free moral agent, did what she wanted to do anyway.
It is good that they aren’t hiding this but getting it out there and McCain knew about this but felt this shouldn’t disqualify her to be his running mate. Look, if the current President can have supposedly “wild” daughters when he was running and his VP can have a lesbian daughter, then having a VP with a pregnant teenager is not the end of the world.

And that is the answer to it all! Can't contrast the two any better than that! Palin's live with the consequences of their actions and the Obama's would kill innocents to keep their lifestyle in either the mother's case or the daughter's.

Senior McCain campaign officials said McCain knew of the daughter's pregnancy when he selected Palin last week as his vice presidential running mate, deciding that it did not disqualify the 44-year-old governor in any way.
