ATLANTA, Oct. 9 /Christian Newswire/ -- Dr. Alveda King, Pastoral Associate of Priests for Life and niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. today said that people cannot lose sight of moral priorities in the face of economic stress.
"No doubt, these are troubled times," said Dr. King, "but it's in troubled times that we especially need to remember what's important. What the current economic meltdown should teach us is that our hope is not in the things of this earth, but in God."
"If financial pressures cause us to stop loving our neighbors, to think only of ourselves, we have lost much more than money," added Dr. King. "If we stop giving to charity, cease donating our time to help others, or, in the extreme, abort a baby for financial reasons, we literally sacrifice the eternal for the temporary."
"Ultimately, what bring us the greatest rewards or the worst scars are the choices we make that have spiritual consequences," said Dr. King. "In the end, we don't look back at our lives and think of refinanced mortgages or stock trades, but of those we loved. Let us trust God and love Him by loving others in good times and bad. As my uncle, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. said, 'The time is always right to do what is right.'"

Remember, no matter how tough life is now, or in the future, money, fame, it means nothing.
She’s right. Our stock market is seriously devalued at this point. It will not, and cannot stay as depressed as it is, for long. There is intrinsic values that have absolutely nothing to do with however much, or little investors panic, and how much or little debt or liquidity thee is in the market. This is a time of great opportunity for the clear headed investor.

Dr. King is definitely one of my favorites, I really want to meet her (unfortunately every time she has been close by I’ve been unable to go).
The Bible does a pretty good job. Many Bible scholars and pundits have tried to “speculate” beyond what the Bible says about such things. However, scholastic speculation aside, the only answers available to us mortals will be found in the original book. ;-)
Faith is what gets you started; Hope is what keeps you going, and Love is what brings you to the end!

And if a Christian Lady who happens to be black were to speak out against Obama's treachery toward the little ones, she would be eviscerated by the black sycophancy for this ruthless ghoul.
