look, we all know that many people voting, especially libtards, have no idea why they are voting other than the guy has a D next to his name. But then again, there were those voting R because they thought Obama is a Muslim.
It’s like the Howard Stern audio where they went into the street and talked to Obama supporters and asked them which policies they liked best, but they gave them McCain policies instead of Obama policies.
Of course they were like “Oh yeah, I’m for lower taxes.”

Tax policy was the tip of the iceberg. You had supporters voting for Obama because he was pro-life and because Sarah Palin was his running mate!

I would suggest, that if you are on welfare, or any form of public assistance you don’t get a full vote. (.25 .50 .75 vote, maybe)

I agree about producing an ID and GA requires you to do that. I don’t agree about the job issue though. I know a several informed people who don’t have a job at the moment. I’m mixed on the civics test. For someone my age, I’d say yes (I’m 32). But I wouldn’t expect my grandparents in their 80s to be required to do that.

Obama ran his campaign as an unabashed leftist. He promised that the government was all of your answers, no matter if they were false or conflicted each other. No one was allowed to challenge his rhetoric. He promised punishment and re-education for the capitalists. He followed the Marxist/Lenninist principals of playing the proletariat against the Bourgeois. He promised a redistribution of wealth without identifying the true recipients.
In contrast, Ronald Reagan, ran the last conservative based campaign. He touched the American People with the message of self reliance, personal responsibility and the dream of getting the government off their backs.
Although Reagan’s was the last true landslide victory in America, the point should be made that people are more likely to vote for you if you aren’t trying to reach the moderates by not offending anyone.
I will always believe that in a good hard fight with sharp contrasts between the candidates conservatism will always win out because it is the promise of personal freedom to grow and prosper.

I would eliminate the job requirement and instead add a “government assistance free for the previous two years” requirement.
Those members of the proletariat and the bourgeoisie who voted for Obama, believing he would usher in the Great Socialist Workers’ Paradise, are in for a big surprise when they discover that Santayana was right after all, and they’re forced to line up for toilet paper and cardboard shoes, and their meat ration doesn’t materialize because the commissars ate it all.
