That is why I caution us about taking him too seriously.

Now grant it, what he said needs to be reported. Authorities should be at his house for being quoted making seditious statements inciting war.

But this is where I see the problem in my state (AL). The population predominantly is what I call “sleepy conservatives”. They don’t realize that the liberal minority has power in Montgomery and is working to solidify it with the dem majority in DC. Sovereignty resolutions will never happen here.

The key to fixing this is for conservatives to start getting actively involved in local governance. Use articles like this as examples to wake up your local sleepy conservatives to be involved in the governing process.

As I see it, it’s time to dismantle their argument. Their main premise must be smashed. The sheeple’s mantra is “enviroment, healthcare, education.”

1) The greening of America has been going on since the 70’s. The common sense greening. Recycling, etc. WE are not the major polluter. WE cannot change the policies of other sovereign nations. In addition, the science is far from settled on Global Warming.

2) We have the best healthcare system in the world. The poor/disabled are provided with free healthcare. Nationalizing health care will lead to a nightmare scenario. There are problems, but we need common sense solutions NOT a fundamental change.

3) We are second only to Canada in what we spend per capita on education. Apparently, throwing money at the system’s NOT working. Either that, or the system is being deliberately maligned. I don’t know how Democrats get away with insulting teachers like this.

I would say this is a figurative, not literal army.

I would hope so, but he didn't speak of army like an "army of volunteers". If he didn't want this to be taken literally, he shouldn't have prefaced his statement by using words like "looking for a fight".
