Thank you FreeKeys for the great pictures and your wonderful signs! I know Freepers will be printing them to use at events in their area, and we will have lots to pass out to Freepers in DC! Freeper TroopRally will be working to get some printed up for us! It was a pleasure to meet you FreeKeys, and other FL Freepers! Thanks again for the great pictures of our Free Republic booth!
What a great Rally For America we had in Orlando, FL! It was a joy for James and I to get to meet more Florida Freeper friends and see those we have had the pleasure of meeting at other Florida events! Florida Freepers really know how to have a good time!
Brytani, Rafterman, Mr.Seek and I got to Eola Park at about 3:00PM and set up our FreeRepublic table with help from Freeper RoadDog727 and Bushbacker1.
We were set up for about 30 minutes when I was told that we had set up in the wrong area! That was my mistake, but we Freepers know how to deal with little problems! We had the table moved and set up in the “right area” within about eight minutes and we were back to greeting folks again!! In one of the pictures above I see the pretty wife of Freeper Bushbacker1 carrying our bowl of patriotic mint candy we had on our table. Was a treat many folks enjoyed, espically all the darling patriot children who were there! :)
I shared the link to this thread with my local 9/12 patriot friends and others. Some of my 9/12 friends from Pinellas and Tampa also attended the Rally.
The program was great and Freeper Lloyd Markus was a great MC and of course sang for us all. We also had the pleasure of hearing Dr.David McKalip give a wonderful presentation about the Health Care issue. I am proud to say I have had the pleasure of meeting Dr.McKalip and he is a member of our local 9/12 group. He certainly impressed the crowd in Orlando as I knew he would!
Just wait till you see the pictures of our Florida Freeper friend TigerBill’s props he brought to the Rally! Hundreds of folks were snapping pictures and I know McMuffin will post some great ones of TigerBill’s handiwork! And all the Freepers who attend our Convention in DC will get to meet our friend TigerBill! He and McMuffin will be bringing lots of their special signs and props for us Freepers to display at the events in DC!
See you all in DC on 9/11! James and I will be ready to have fun with Freepers from all across the US! :)

I’m curious do the sign saying that the government should stay out of the waay of making medical decisions for doctors and people. Mean that “conservatives” should not fight against abortion?
Don't buy into the lie that abortions are a medical decision...they are a moral decision. FETUSES ARE PEOPLE (in my best Charlton Heston voice), hence, abortion is murder.

I like every single one of the posters EXCEPT the one near the bottom which refers to “blacks”.
I don’t really understand what it means, and what I do understand sounds like we are condescending to “blacks”. I don’t think any of us voted expecting “blacks” to be inspired. On the other hand I don’t care what one’s race, none of us want anyone to be a panther or a goon. This back-handedly singles out blacks as goons. THIS JUST IS NOT RIGHT! It is not the kind of poster which should be included in the mix.
Given the possibility of affronting people, why take the chance?
I can't answer your question because it's too vague. For example, sex change operations, abortion and government assisted suicide can be (and is by many on the left) considered a health care issue and to be covered under "universal health care". If you leave the definition that broad the answer seems clearly no. Additionally, when you say "providing"...do you mean through government conficatatory programs and redistributing wealth as the government sees fit in order to provide health care to others? Again, I'd say no. If you mean is it possible that at least some Christians should provide assistance and care for the poor, widows etc...I'd personally say yes. Ask yourself this...are the directives given to take care of the poor, orphans etc given to us as individuals or are we covered to not bother to do anything personally as long as we pay taxes and some of those taxes help some of the poor and some of the orphans? To me it seems clear, the responsibility is ours and we're failing if we abdicate our responsibilities to the government. There is very little the government can possibly do better than individuals answering a personal call to do the same thing. In fact, I can't think of a single example.

I know a lot of independents (who now suffer from "buyer's remorse") actually voted for Obama because they wanted minorities to either (a) realize there are no limits to success, and/or (b) realize that there is no significant nationwide "white conspiracy" to keep minorities down, so stop using it as an excuse to avoid pursuing your dreams. Obviously, I did not think of a good way to compress all that into an intelligible poster. So, you're right. It's gone.

I am going to 912 DC March - Can someone tell me if there is a limit on size of sign - with or without a pole/stick.
I think 18 inches x 24 inches is a convenient size to carry. Is a pole or stick for mounting the sign a safety concern?
