In the first half-hour of today's show, MSNBC Morning Joe host Joe Scarborough accused Fox News Channel and radio talk show host Glenn Beck of spreading hatred and whippping up raced-based assassination hysteria against Barack Obama, demanding Republicans renounce Beck.
Scarborough, a former conservative Republican congressman from Florida, attacked the libertarian Beck for spending the summer telling viewers there were FEMA detention camps being built and for saying that Obama hates "all white people."
Scarborough said the "hatred" Beck is spreading would make him responsible should Obama be assassinated. Though he didn't speak explicitly of Obama's assassination, it was clear what Scarborough meant.
Scarborough demanded that potential Republican presidential candidates denounce Beck, naming Mitt Romney in particular.
Go crawl back under your rock, Joe.

We really hate the actions of Obama. As for Barry, he’s just another guy out of his league. I’d rather be led by a random pick out of a phone book.

Agreed with you until you got to Don Assmas. He was an unbearable bully until he got zinged with the “nappy headed hos” thing. Then he demonstrated that he was the typical school yard bully...somebody stood up to him and he cried all the way home. His continuous navel gazing and cult of “me” is not worth two seconds of air time.
I am one of those who actually does vote with my remote. If Don Assmus is on, I’m changing the channel.
As for Scarborough, I now have to scrupulously avoid turning the radio on for Rush too soon as he has a show that precedes Rush in NYC. He really is poor. And his sidekick is poor too.

Beck shouldn’t take the bait and respond to Scarborough, Joe is simply trying to pick a fight with the ratings king in order to boost his pathetic numbers.
Instead of reporting the news, they are attacking the ones who ARE reporting the news.

Can't argue with you. I often turned the channel. My goal in watching those shows , since I FReep often and watch Fox in the background all day, is to get the "other" perspectives in small enough doses that my head doesn't explode. That's why I watched Morning Choke (although no more) and why I will at least attempt to watch Imus instead.
Joe’s transformation and gender reassignment is now complete.
