ACORN wants people to register to vote as long as theyre Democrats. Republican registrations go into the trash.
Here is a first-hand account of how it happens. In February 2008, Fathiyyah Muhammad of Jacksonville, Florida, heard that ACORN was paying people three dollars for each voter they could register. ACORN paid her three dollars for each voter she registered, but Fatiyyah Muhammad says that the group threw out her votes and fired her when she brought them registrations of Republican voters.
Fathiyyah Muhammad voted for Obama. Im a Republican, she says, and this was the first time that I voted for a Democrat since JFK
. Im one of those rare birds, a black conservative Republican, and actually this is the black conservative capital of the country, Jacksonville, Florida. She is an entrepreneur and a great American: she makes custom caps for her businesses Bilals Custom Caps and Only in America. She and her James have made custom caps for politicians, sports heroes, musicians, and others. America, she says, is the place you can live your dreams if you work at it. Shes a can-do woman with a great American spirit, and when she saw what was breaking in the news about ACORN, she came forward; I interviewed her Monday morning.

Since ACORN accepted federal money aren’t they supposed to be non-partisan?
proving that they threw away republican voter registrations would be as big as the pimp expose on FOX
Im a Republican, she says, and this was the first time that I voted for a Democrat since JFK . Im one of those rare birds, a black conservative Republican”
I am having difficulty believing this statement. I don’t know a single black conservative who voted for Obama. There are a lot more black conservatives then we think. They are passionate against Obama.
Disenfranchise the vote.
RICO ACTION NOW. Defund the Left. Throw the Leftist goons in prison over this corruption.
It is seditious overthrow of the founding principles of this nation and they clearly were NOT a non-partisan organization meaning their entire establishment was as a tax cheat.
Jailtime for Bertha Big Butt?
I have no doubt that ACORN threw out GOP registrations.
OTOH it is impossible for anyone to call themselves a ‘conservative’ and to have voted for Obama.
Charles ‘Sgt. Schultz’ Gibson, anchor of ABCDisney News knows nothing of this scandal either. Maybe he’ll look into it since it doesn’t have a sexed-up angle.
I think I might like a custom cap. Off to Bilal’s web site.
And when will Nancy Pelosi’s “most ethical Congress in history” address this culture of corruption?
There were (religious) conservative black democrats who preached AGAINST Obama because of his stances on abortion and advancing the homosexual agenda. They may not have voted for McCain but they clearly knew that they had to answer to a higher power and could NOT vote for Obama.
ping
RICO - Something - Anything! Where is the AG or even DA stepping up to the plate to investigate immediately and maybe bring a case concerning this further example of LEFTY VOTER FRAUD.
These people are trying to engineer a permanent Democrat governance of this country by criminal means.
“I dont know a single black conservative who voted for Obama.”
Larry Elder
we are so shocked, our beebers are stuned, the moose ran away with the cheese and all that.
But it’s okay to throw out Republican Registrations because we all know that ALL republicans are either racists or “uncle toms” to their own groups.
/sarc
You cannot think that there would ever be a credible investigation, let alone a prosecution, of any of the ACORN reprobates under a (D) administration and Congress.................
Nothing will be done. Count on it. These criminal scum are lauging at us as they go about their business unimpeded by either law or conscience.
Nothing short of the Second Americal Revolution will be sufficient to perform the housecleaning that’s needed to restore our Constitutional Republic.
It will interesting to watch how the Obama administration handles this fiasco.
RICO, Special Prosecutor, IRS audits, dismantling of all ACORN related organizations, etc. are in order. Imho, if this kind of criminal activity is permitted by this, or any administration, the US will descend very quickly into a kind of third world banana republic. It will be like Venezuela and Cuba where those that can leave, will.
As far as I’m concerned, there should be a law against organizations that sign up voters. Any voter who isn’t interested enough to go to city hall and register, should forgo voting. Let counties and local governments send out registration material if they want, but we don’t need a bunch of commie scum and cons out hustling votes for the Bolsheviks.
Something sounds a little fishy about this woman’s story.
Never, ever register to vote through someone who has been hired to register people to vote.
Yes, yes and yes.
Declaring party affiliation on a voter registration form is such a travesty. That wasn’t on my Texas voter registration card and I was shocked that I had to declare a party when I register or NEVER vote in a primary in New York. (Texas kept you from voting in more than one primary by stamping your card when you voted with the primary and date.)
I was always taught that “The vote is private” - not if you have to tell the elections folks which party you favor...
btt
I wish I did not agree with you but, sadly, I do. The lefties will stop at nothing in their quest for eternal power, and the RINO right will stop at anything.
The only way to address this is in the courts.
It would take decades to break this cycle in congress.
Yet I still hope those with some idealism left will continue hammering on ACORN vote fraud.
Big news here!
There is another way, although I hope the thugs will back off under a lesser pressure:
A well regulated Militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed
Yeah,.. They’ve proved acorn GUILTY of voter fraud in WI in several elections. From local up to presidential, and it just gets swept under the rug.I just love this damn state!(sarc).
Voting rights, and civil rights.
This kind of corruption from the left is the reason I have very little hope for 2010 elections. Even if ACORN is neutralized, another group will take its place.
Glenn Beck needs to have this lady on his show.
No there are certainly black conservatives who voted for Obama. No group is a monolith and people of all political beliefs bought into Obama’s lies.
Some more than others.
Remember after the election how many folks talked about how Obama would be a moderate President? You don’t hear that any more. For the record, I never bought it.
“There are a lot more black conservatives then we think. They are passionate against Obama.”
Bingo!
I’ve been a registered Rupublican for 6 years now. It took 11 years of annual submissions to get registered as Republican. I filed my change of affiliation card 11 years in a row and finally handed the 12th application to the county GOP chairman to hand deliver for me. That worked. Nothing else did. I live in Buffalo, NY.
It makes Michael Steele’s praise for ACORN’s president even more despicable.
?
She signed up homeless people as Republicans, implying that they told her they were?
Well, I went out and got a lot of people, homeless people, but of course I signed everybody up as a Republican, and I would have put people had they been Democrats.
What (R) would vote for Urkle?
You’re absolutely right. I’m so tired of hearing about how the poor and the elderly have so much trouble registering to vote. Funny, but all the Republican elderly I know don’t have a bit of problems registering to vote. In fact, they have been registered for a very long time. And why does being poor have anything to do with difficulty in registering?
If they don’t outlaw these voter registration groups, then another ACORN will pop up and take up where they left off.
the stink is becoming pretty bad and the winds are shifting and picking up.. and they have no one but themselves to blame for the storm&sh*tfest to come.
