Today, November 24, it is exactly 150 years since Charles Darwin published his On the Origin of Species.
The world has been gearing up for this second echelon of celebrations for this international Year of Darwin, following on from the 200th anniversary of his birth this last February. Atheists and humanist groups in particular have seemed to be relishing the thought of giving further prominence to the ideas of their patron saint. Their adulation is heightened by their knowledge that...

Don't fall off the edge of the flat Earth.
It is a religion, though they don’t call it that.
That’s true, but they’ll be forgotten in 50 years, Jesus will still be King.
PS I have a college aged renter going with me. He sees the wind outside, and fear is written all over his face...hehe :o)
I’ll tell you what, I’ll try not to “fall off the edge of the flat Earth”, if you promise to let me give you a short lesson on how we know the Earth is round when I return :o)
All the best—GGG
Your buddy Kirk Cameron is getting totally destroyed by a bunch of evos in this thread.
Here is your chance to go and save him and send those evos away crying with your superior debating skills, and that mountain of evidence you clam destroys the temple of Darwin.
I for one would like to see you show your stuff outside of this echo-chamber supported by the mods and surrounded by your cheerleaders.
You talk the talk, well now GGG it is time to walk the walk, unless as I predict you are all hat and no cattle.

Yes.
It’s called “The Shroud of Turin”.
Ba-da-bump! BUMP!!!
Thank you!!!
I’ll be here all week!!!
That picture you posted isn't signed and the artist cited or referenced. Doesn't that bother you just a little bit, or do you reserve the right to sin in God's name?
I was thinking you might use that in some way.

It is an unprovable belief to which some are emotionally attached that everything that is can be observed through man's physical senses or subjected to repeatable experiments. Truly rational discourse will acknowledge the unprovablity of this belief.
This is one of the first honest posts on the subject I have seen. If those that support literal creation based only on Scripture would have the honesty to admit that Faith and Science are not always compatible and that there are things that science will never prove, but I believe anyway the flame wars would end.
Unfortunately, some (and you know who you are) insist at defending creationism by falsely attacking science.
But on another thread you’ve already said it’s become personal for you so would the personal comments on your part cease?
The shroud is fake.
The shroud is fake. Just like the geological column.
And now are back and thanks to JR. The present forum seems more appropriate than General Chat or something.
As long as the falsehoods regarding the doctrine of the Catholic Church and the validity of its positions with respect to Creation and science continue I will continue to refute and rebuke.
And I know you aren't going to say such is acceptable practice amongst Catholics, are you?
Nice. When you appear before Him, try to keep that smile and feeling of superiority going.
Just sayin’
