Mysterious Group Buys Building Next to Ground Zero For Mosque Wednesday, December 16, 2009 Jim Hoft

A mysterous Muslim group with unknown sponsors has purchased a building steps away from Ground Zero. Hudson New York reported:

An identified group with unknown sponsors has purchased building steps away from where the WorldTrade Center once stood — to turn it into potentially one of the largest New York City mosques.

At the moment the building, the old Burlington Coat Factory, already serves as a mini-mosque: an iron grill lifts every Friday afternoon for a little known Imam leading prayers a few yards away from where Osama Bin Laden’s airborne Islamist bombers killed nearly 3000 people back in 2001.

The Imam, Feisal Abdul Rauf, told the New York Times — which put the story on its front page Wednesday — that he has assembled several million dollars to turn it into ‘’an Islamic center near the city’s most hallowed piece of land that would stand as one of ground zero’s more unexpected and striking neighbors.’’

The 61-year-old Imam said he paid $4.85 million for it — in cash, records show. With 50,000 square feet of air rights and enough financing, he plans an ambitious project of $150 million, he said, akin to the Chautauqua Institution, the 92 Street Y or the Jewish Community Center.

Maybe we can build a cathedral in Mecca - yeah, right.

They don't let non-Muslims in - and if you're caught with a Bible, they'll arrest you.

This Iman is giving us the finger - because he knows he has protection from every liberal idiot in the country.

The Iman knows he can insult all of us because he has the full protection of every democrat liberal elite - from New York and Washington to SanFrancisco and LA - in the country. Dems love wallowing in what they perceive as white guilt.

OMG those images still shock me but I’m glad for they are reminder that Islam is at war with us.

I hate to ask but what are those 3 huge red stains near to the columns? Is it blood where the bodies landed from falling? God Almighty! I remember MSNBC had a live segment of a couple who took video of the attack and the news was showing the footage without editing since there was no time I suppose. Well the camera caught a glimpse of a body with blood splatter in large area like those images above. It didn’t make me sick but PISSED. They repeated the segment of the couple again showing their video, but this time the body was edited out. I believe people need to see what EVIL is.

NEVER FORGET 911

June 11, 2006 : (MALAYSIAN GOVERNMENT IS DESTROYING TEMPLES? ) NEW DELHI: Hindu groups in Malaysia allege that the government is demolishing temples and have appealed to Indian rights groups and the UN to help protect their heritage. According to the Hindu groups, the latest instance was that of a 107-year-old place of worship that was razed last month in the capital, Kuala Lumpur. The demolition has triggered angry reactions from Hindus in the Muslim-dominated country. “At least one temple is being demolished by the authorities every three weeks in an unlawful and indiscriminate fashion, at the federal, state and local levels,” said PW Moorthy, chairman of Hindu Rights Action... -————Temples in Malaysia under threat , Times Of India ^ | 6-11-06Sunday, June 11, 2006

They are crazy to draw attention to themselves like this.

Maybe they, or their sponsors, just want to swat the beehive.

MAY 27-30, 2006 : (MALAYSIA : NON-ALIGNED NATIONS MINISTERS MEET —See VENEZUELA, CUBA, IRAN, SUDAN, SYRIA) Set against the backdrop of decolonization and an international environment split between Cold War superpowers, both weak and newly independent states formed a bloc that became known as the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM). While essentially contradictory from its inception, it was not until the collapse of the U.S.S.R. and the Warsaw Pact that NAM became largely irrelevant in a seemingly tranquil and unipolar world.
However, contemporary attempts to challenge America’s global leadership have caused the organization to drastically improve its standing. Between the 27th and 30th of May, the foreign ministers of the Non-Aligned countries met in Putrajaya, Malaysia.
A 60-page “Final Document” produced at the recent meeting in Malaysia is worth exploring as it plainly illustrates both the ideology and goals of this increasingly influential organization. “Terrorism,” the document notes in a statement likely aimed at the United States and Israel, “should not be equated with the legitimate struggle of people’s under colonial or alien domination and foreign occupation.”
Palpably referring to the Bush administration, the NAM document affirms that among their objectives is to “oppose and condemn the categorization of countries as good and evil based on unilateral and unjustified criteria, and the adoption of the doctrine of pre-emptive attack.”
The document also denounces the “politically motivated” promotion of democracy and the imposition of “unilateral economic sanctions,” while defending such member nations as Cuba, Iran, Sudan, Syria, and Venezuela.
Perhaps most egregious of the stated methods of NAM is the call for solidarity with member states that have come under international pressure. Clearly a central subject of this pronouncement is the Islamic Republic of Iran. In fact, Tehran’s influence was largely on display with the following call to:(Excerpt) Read more at spectator.org ...The Return of the Non-Aligned Movement Robert T. That’s what I find most astounding. He didn’t even try to sell it like “building a bridge of love and peace between two great religions” crap.

And as far as property rights, I can’t put a casino, restaurant or gas station on my front yard. Or have large bins of manure that I could sell by the truck load - a more apt comparison I suppose.

Im thinking more like a Jimmy Dean sausage plant. Of course they could raise some of the pork for the sausages on site. And the processing would probably aerosolize some of the pork throughout the neighborhood...

And then “discover” that it is the third holiest site in Islam.....

First thought: Exactly who are the people who sold the property to the them for this mosque?

So many of the destructive things that have happened to the this country happened because Americans have not only allowed them to happen, but aided and abetted their happening.

This turns my stomach. What is happening to my beloved country?

Democrats and their shills in the MSM have decided that the only "enemy" is people who don't worship at the shrine of " PC DIVERSITY ". So if you object to this Iman giving you the finger, and the people who died there the finger, and the children of the dead the finger - then YOU are the problem.

““where a piece of the wreckage fell,”

Oh, good.

They’re gonna bulid another shrine and worship it as “god” just like that stupid, pathetic piece of space debris in Mecca.

If this wasn’t so offensive and agregious, I’d laugh.

It’s like the movie “The Gods Must Be Crazy” where a “cargo cult” forms around an empty Coke bottle dropped from a plane.

Don't worry - the Iman knows some head of a liberal church that believes in DIVERSITY above all will provide the excuse - not that he cares. This is an intentional insult to all Americans - and that's how he wants it.

The origins of such monies are unexplained; neither are the countries or entity advancing such huge donations. Most US mosques, including many in Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx are funded directly or indirectly by Saudi Arabia the country to which 15 of the 19 hijackers who bombed the World TradeCenter belonged. The UAE, Qatar and Iran are other major sponsors across the USA.

I wouldn't be surprised if their intentions are to build a terrorist recruiting center. Since the terrorists' trial is going to be held in NYC, I imagine how these people might feel emboldened by such a move, and how they would want to make a big issue for their “cause” and use the free publicity to their advantage.  So what better place for a mosque, or whatever they want to call it, to voice heir hatred for America.
