Opinion: Speaker Pelosi’s Bishop Corrects her Once Again. Call to Catholic Action.

One of the scandals of our age is the leadership of some Catholics in public life who are unfaithful to the teaching of our Church and betray their public trust. They demonstrate the danger warned of in the last great ecumenical council of our Church, Vatican II. The Council Fathers warned of the “separation between faith and life.” They called it one of the “greatest errors of our age”. And, so it truly is... advanced with the help of Speaker Nancy Pelosi and some other Catholics in public life. ...

Authentic faithful Christians must now become the champions of freedom in this age. Millions are depending upon our courage to resist the lies of this current deluded age and rebuild the Western vision of a free society.

We must insist upon the essential connection between freedom, truth and responsibility to prevent the continued descent of the West into a new paganism masquerading as “freedom.” The horrors which will be unleashed in the name of a “freedom” which is a lie are evident in the blood of all those killed through procured abortions since Roe. Let’s cut to the chase, killing our first neighbors in the womb in the name of “choice” is evil, sick and unlawful.

It also violates the Natural Law even if the current positive law allows it. It is barbarism. As Christians we agree that humans are “free” to choose. However we insist that some choices are always wrong. Perhaps the most obvious example is the lie that a nation can treat an entire class of human persons as property to be used – and killed- rather than a gift to be received and recognized as our neighbors, and still claim to be free and just.

Uh Deacon? 53% of the American catholics voted for Obama who, not only supports partial birth abortion, but also supports the killing of a child who lives during a botched abortion! Either you are seriously out of touch of reality or the majority of catholics are out of touch??????

“Pelosi is not a true Catholic.

If not, the church would throw her out publically.

They don’t. Until they do, the mockery of the teaching
of catholicism by these democrat bozos will continue.

And yet, they are not thrown out... hard to understand.

The words of Archbishop Charles Chaput are pretty clear on this;

But when we hear that 54 percent of American Catholics voted for President Obama last November, and that this somehow shows a sea change in their social thinking, we can reasonably ask: How many of them practice their faith on a regular basis? And when we do that, we learn that most practicing Catholics actually voted for Senator McCain.

Liberalism and Christianity cannot co-exist; you are either one or the other. Conservatism is “common sense” while Liberalism IS a religion, not just a political euphanism.

Christianity has a savior whose sacrifice on the cross provides hope and redemption. Liberalism must also have a sacificial element and for them that is the unborn. You attack their sacficial ritual and you attack the core of their beliefs.

When liberals attack conservatives you don’t get the same viseral reaction. Instead, you typically get a shake of the head trying to understand the convoluted logic. Liberals just verify what Mark Twain said...”I tend to keep my mouth shut because there are those that think I am a fool and when I open my mouth I remove all doubt”.

Pelosi’s claims to Chrisianity is just a facade to hide her true beliefs.

My prayer is that the aborted babies are at the pearly gates and get to decide who gets in.

Pelosi listens to the Bishop about the same way she listens to the public.

Oppose Obamacare.

Pelosi has self excommunicated herself by going against the laws of God and the laws of the Catholic Church.

She is bound for a long time in hell. (Unless she repents, of course, and changes her ways.)

REAL Catholics did not vote for Obortion O.

The ones — and it was only 48 percent — not the figure you quoted mistakenly, are simply CINOs. Catholics in Name Only.

The excommunicate themselves by support abortion/killing of humans.

Nancy Pelosi is a Catholic....who is in a grave state of mortal sin. She desperately needs our prayers. Pray that the Holy Spirit open her eyes that have been so blinded by sin.
