Bill Gates has made his scholarship fund off limits to white teenagers. The Gates Millennium Scholarship fund is financed by a $1 Billion endowment Bill Gates made in 1999. The fund explicitly denies eligibility to white students.
“Students are eligible to be considered for a GMS scholarship if they: Are African American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian and Pacific Islander American, or Hispanic American;"

Gates is smart. He is also very arrogant. But, he did not write the operating system that launched Microsoft.

I think the point is that it wouldn’t “be America” if he had banned any other race from eligibility.
How about a link to currently available REAL scholarships for whites only? I don't mean joke scholarships for a few hundred dollars, but the real thing. Surely in racist AmeriKKKa, there must be hundreds if not thousands of such scholarships. Right?
If he did, he used it and has created thousands of jobs directly and probably a million indirectly, so your point is what?

So? Bill Gates did author a lot of other stuff that was brilliant enough in its own little world. Enough that there is not any excuse for him not being brilliant enough to foresee the Windows virus. Unless he was simply not normal.
Might as well ask, why does an avalanche gain momentum. Microsoft Windows IS the base of the Wintel architecture.
Nonetheless, Linux has already bested Windows in the server market, where platforms are more stable.
Too easy. What Gates is doing is rotten, but the principle of “sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander” suggests that whites who want the scholarships enough simply claim to be, say, American Indian or Alaskan Native. After all, Todd Palin, by all appearances Joe Average White Guy, is Alaskan Native. Easy way to go after the funds for those who think they need them.
Of course, I’m just stating a hypothetical here. Heavens! I wouldn’t suggest going against Mr. Gates’ wishes. Dear me, no! Never!
