10 AM Rules Committee meeting (C-span2 LIVE all day)
11 AM Stupak press conference
12 PM Demonstration at the Capitol
3 PM Obama meets with the Democratic caucus
Sunday
2 p.m.: The House will debate for one hour the rules of debate for the reconciliation bill and the Senate bill.
3 p.m.: The House will vote to end debate and vote on the rules of the debate.
3:15 p.m.: The House will debate the reconciliation package for two hours.
5:15 p.m.: The House will vote on the reconciliation package.
5:30 p.m.: The House will debate for 15 minutes on a Republican substitute and then vote on the substitute.
6 p.m.: The House will vote on the final reconciliation package.
6:15 p.m.: If the reconciliation bill passes, the House will immediately vote on the Senate bill, without debate.

You are right -— next few hours will hold the official vote from the House of Represenatives to approve the Senate Bill, thus making it law. They will add small provisions for reconciliation which have to conform to certain budgetary restrictions in their content, but a Law it will become once the senate reads and accepts those and Oboma signs it.
Socialized Medicine finally achieved by the leftists after sixty years of struggle and decades of world-wide failure and economic ruin as its legacy elsewhere. The USA is now one of the few places on earth where communist programs are getting real support thanks to the Democrat Party.

Name the NUMBER of federal government agencies when the Republicans finally after 100 years achieve barely a bare majority. and then show how that number trippled by 2006 when the Democrats gained a super majority, show the NUMBER of agencies in 2006 or federal workers. if you can’t then you prove yourself totally misinformed and you are just spreading lies , slander against the GOP which will divide conservatives and gain more victories for Democrats so they can destroy our country faster, and that’s the media’s goal and what you are in effect helping them to do.
I can show the number of workers per 1000 population decreased during the time the Republicans held barely a bare majority.
We fought AND won against McCain on amnesty and could do it again but this....this is too much to overcome.

Nope, hold your ground, the truth will prevail, and sooner then Democrats expect. And if we’re all condensed into one area it could only mean less seats in Congress

That might not mean very much this time. If health care is of low quality and difficult to access, people will naturally try to circumvent the process. A government will have to be very oppressive to prevent people from purchasing what they want. Defeating critical aspects this legislation will be tough but certainly possible. Here are a few things we need to consider when we get back the WH
1. Allow private contracting for physicians that accept Medicare and other government insurance.
2. Allow states the power to set insurance rules as they do now with the addition of cross state purchasing.
3. Tort reform
4. Tax exempt MSAs, raising tax deferred amounts
5. Menu pricing.
6. Stripping out the taxes
Getting back the House will help us do investigations of zero’s regime and block further expansion of government health care. Getting back the WH will allow the president to issue executive orders that de-federalize health care, eliminate mandates and all other unconstitutional elements to the legislation.
To accept defeat is to accept evil. We cannot accept the “conventional wisdom” that an entitlement cannot be rescinded. Our enemies are sending in the trolls to demoralize us. never surrender.
Watch what Republicans do after this is all passed and signed. When you know you are going to be defeated, it’s no big deal to make a big impassioned show of words, as today. When you have to ‘get along’, it may be a different story.
The chagrin over Stupak’s caving has been met with ‘every politician has his price.’ The Republicans are politicians, and in the past their price has not been to high. For instance, being invited to the important cocktail parties.
As I say, watch what they do after the deed is done.
I love the part in the HC Bill that allows children age 26 to stay on their parents policy—I guess that makes sense since they are STILL Living in their parent’s basement!
It takes a 2/3 vote in both the House and Senate to override the President. And that won’t be anytime soon.
I don’t think the GOP has ever had 2/3 majority, except maybe during the Civil War.
