Grange was in lots of good movies, including (as the article says) Hitchcock’s STRANGERS ON A TRAIN and ROPE...a pair of classic film noir titles, SIDE STREET and THEY LIVE BY NIGHT...an excellent Korean War family drama called I WANT YOU...a lovely movie called ENCHANTMENT...and many more.

I wonder how Jim Nabors stayed such a republican, despite being “married” to Rock Hudson.

He was awesome in the Rope, I went out and bought that a few weeks ago..his portrayal of a “trapped animal” was perfection.

I remember him as a good actor, and I never knew that he was possibly gay.

Sad to hear. Good actor, and for some reason always struck me as a nice guy. (Easy on the eyes, too!) My grandmother (b. 1904) told me that she once had a crush on Farley Granger. :)

"Farley was gay ?"His character on Rope was a homosexual (and a psycho too, so it worked).

Strangers on a TrainOne of the best movies ever.

He played the Major in “The call me Trinity”. I thought I’d seen the name before.

Why did I briefly think of Ferlin Huskey when I first clicked on this thread?
To: cva66snipe
That “Trinity” series was a hoot.
