We don’t need no stinkin’ Constitution!

If it was proved today that Obama was born in Kenya, who would do anything about it?

If the NBC clause just doesn’t matter, than what makes you think the cops need a warrant to search your house? They want to search, they can search, any time for any reason. Sure, the Constitution is very clear on the fact that they cannot — but who cares?

And who knows? Maybe Obama will end up getting elected to a third term! What would stop him?

To folks who hate the original idea of America — limited government, individual rights, etc. — the fact that Obama is not a natural American is not a problem, it’s an asset. And such folks comprise the Democrat Party and a lot of independents ... as well as convicts, dopesmokers, and militant Mohammadans.

Too true. There are very few genuine adherents to the Constitution in the US government, in spite of congressmen having to take this oath:

“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God”

There are plenty of failed marriages, so plenty of broken oaths, but there are very few people who recite marriage vows with the express intention of breaking those vows the moment the ceremony is over. But that is exactly what happens when the oath of allegiance is taken by too many US congressmen. They either don’t know the Constitution to which they are swearing allegiance or, knowing it, have no intention to support and defend it. I wouldn’t want to be standing within a 100 yards of any of these scumbags during a lightning storm.

I wonder if so many supposed conservatives shy away from this issue so they won’t get branded by the media?

I am surprised at Horowitz.
Bill O’Reilly addressed this last night and as usualignored reality and made up other stuff.

of course now the obamites are saying no one can get an original out of Hi but that is flat out not true.

the obamites have put one over on many, but failed with Freepers

I believe 13 states have made serious efforts in that direction. Several of those 13 states have gone a fair way down the path and then ... just sort of ... stopped.

No one has yet passed the bill. And I find that queer and disturbing. It's like they were spoken to and told to knock it off. Or else.

People do not understand the concept of how easy it is to destroy the country by ignoring the small things.

For example, you guys would be laden down with the huge debt if the the belief in being debt free had been respected.

By not respecting the smallest part of the constitution, you are opening up the probability (not just possibility) that your constitution is going to be rendered ineffectual and meaningless.

Customs Inspector: “May I see your passport please?”

Barack Obama: “I will show it to you as soon as you prove that I do not have one.”

The curtain drops—finis. The audience wants their money back.

I don’t understand their way of thinking. This country is overrun now with illegals and the possibility of the President not being eligible is a real one. It would be a very simple matter to prove yeah or nay. If we have a President who by his very being is not eligible; what is to stop others and eventually we will end up with our enemy being our leader.

The question is simple and it needs to be answered truthfully.

Michelle is, herself, an "anchor baby". She's a citizen only because some clerk thought the Constitution said she was ~ and that clerk was not well trained in the law.

Horowitz, like so many Jewish people in our history, has always protected the Jewish community by ignoring the question of legitimate entry, or by attacking those who do question it.

This doesn't mean Horowitz and Malkin are not nice people ~ they may be. At the same time that also means both of them have a personal interest in maintaining the status quo. In short, neither should be trusted when it comes to any issue impinging on immigration, immigrants, or the status of their offspring.

Frankly I think Michelle could do a great deal of good for the Philippines and if she got sent there it wouldn't hurt this country at all. With modern computers and communications systems she can write her stuff as readily on Cebu as in New York.

This country needs to get back to understanding that we are governed by the constitution, period. If we don't do something about this birth issue it will just be kicked down the road again and again, just like drilling for oil here on our soil. It is time the people decide WHO is going to determine whether a person is quailified to be president according to our constitution.

This is a dead issue. I’ve said before even if obama admitted he was born in Kenya, but didn’t know it until recently, nobody who could do anything WOULD do anything.

The widely held understanding of the term “natural born citizen” among the founders in the 18th century was that no one would be qualified to be president if their father was not a citizen of the United States.

Unfortunately, the term was not defined in the Constitution, and has become yet another supposedly quaint notion of the founders that has become all but a dead letter.

I find it particularly outrageous that the Supremes decided to avoid discovering what NBC actually meant; or rather, as I'm all but certain that many of them do know, they decided for the sake of political expediency to ignore the issue. However, isn't constitutional interpretation supposed to be their very function, and the politically consequences - particularly to certain constitutional usurpers who occupy the WH - be damned?

Rush mentioned it was Larry Johnson who first started to question Obama eligibility, so I Google'd "Larry Johnson" as soon as I heard and saw the original web page by Larry Johnson back on April 2008. Now that original web page is nowhere to be found. Larry Johnson page questioned eligibility that to be POTUS both parents must be U.S. citizens. May be the incumbent POTUS' bio dad was El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz not the Kenyan guy???
