I don’t blame Obama for trying....he is systematically destroying the country, and so far, nobody has made any effort to stop him.

Obama wants to destroy the economy either by destroying the dollar or by overburdening us with taxes. The last thing he wants is a deal.

Typical liberal terrorist mindset at work: pretend to negociate, then once the opposition lowers their guard, move the goal posts and shoot them in the back.

()bama is not a juggler. Jugglers have to keep at least three things in the air at once. A President must keep about fifty. His lack of experience was glossed-over for things like pant creases, nice smile, and the unique composition of skin- more melanin than a white person, less than a black person.

See, Hillary was supposed to be the pick, but then along came 'you-know-who' and she went gladly to the back of the bus with a token appt to Sec. of State. Not under, but to the back.

2008 was to be Bill Clinton's third term with his housefrau as lead puppet which would have made it easier to understand who was pulling the strings than what we have now.

What we don't have is a recipe for success that America (pre-socialist) will accept. Because socialists don't do competition. Capitalist do, but they are fewer in number and declining. Boehner needs to realize he's dealing with radicals intent on 'fundamentally transforming' this country. 'Till then, they'll continue on the march. If he's not careful, they'll march over his head. Take it from Mao, it can be a Long March.

Obama walked away because he was afraid that the GOP would take the deal. Without a “crisis” Obummer cant continue his destructive path.

So Obama got Boehner to cave but also gave Boehner the excuse to bail when he didn't think Boehner caved enough and Obama tried to move the goal post.
Boehner mentioned the fact that he stepped back and actually saw what Obama was pulling.

Who wants to bet that a solution will “miraculously happen” right before their august break??? Amazing how we have seen this over and over, and people still fall for it.

“Even after the day’s events — and the president’s tough rhetoric — Boehner said the relationship between the two was not “permanently damaged” and that he still trusted Obama.”

WOW! Boehner still “Trusts Obama”!?

We definitely need a new SOH.

NO MORE CLOSED DOORS. From here on out--the negotiations should be in public. That's what Boehner should insist on...and he should say why--that O says one thing in private and then runs to the press con to "tell" on his opponents. Because he's the president, he gets the biggest voice to the media.

No more closed doors.

Obama knows he owns the Mainstream Media. He can be the A-Hole because failure to reach an agreement will be spun against the Republicans.

If things were reversed, the Democrat Speaker would be seen as standing on principle while being bullied by that mean SOB Republican President.

Imagine what this country would look like if the Media was really nonpartisan. Facts might count for something if that was the case.

Ahh... greed. So, basically he already got most he wanted, then he demanded more. It was then that the Boehner and Co. balked at him.

I was going to post this but I will comment here: basically Obama wanted to force the GOP to raise taxes, just to be able to campaign on it....

I hope this pathetic clown gets what he has earned with a quick trip to the unemployment line

Just took a couple of days of pressure and bonehead, decided to ‘see the light’ or was he reading the Tea Leaves come ‘12.

Let his days in office be few, and a REAL CONSERVATIVE LEADER take his place.

Mantra is REFORM, CUT, and NO MORE TAXES. You just can’t cut you have to root out stupid programs eliminate them, REFORM the 45+ years of donor palm greasing that has driven up the cost of each program yearly.

First one on the list, High way beautification via Lady Bird Johnson...TN share is half a Mil a year, multiple that times 50 and it is a hefty chunk of change.

There is a list some where on FR with all the useless programs that can be eliminated, please someone find and post it again.

WHY is it always "RESPONDS" with the repub/rino/conserv/tparty???????????????????????????????

Why don't they "get it" that they have to attack first...keep attacking.....attack again....ALWAYS?????????????

The say it doesn't take a "2x4".....

Well....in the case of the repub/rino/conserv/tparty....it takes something a lot more substantial.

Except for one possible candidate....and she attacked immediately ("lame duck president").

One lady with the guts to state the truth in unambiguous terms.
