I am quickly becoming educated. Is it too late?

"But if he wasn’t an idiot, he would know that Americans (majority) would never go along with his schemes."

I almost wrote something about that on the last post... I'm not NEARLY going to to call him a "genius" by any stretch, but that still leaves a lot of room between there and 'idiot' (i.e., Carter).

I can go along with 'puppet', too -- I just think that as a True (Lefty/Commie/Marxist) Believer, he can't understand why people aren't blindly following and trusting him. After all, he's the Messiah, right?

Yes. Amity shlaes wrote abut this in The Forgotten Man. The “progressives”, God I hate that word, were pretty disheartened in the 20’s when the economy was booming. They saw their chances to remake the country dashed. But then the great depression happened and they were re-invigorated, the beasts. Many of the progressive leaders who had gone on junkets to Russia to study how they were doing things came back to positions in the Roosevelt administration. They saw all the strife and ruined lives as a VIRTUE, just as they do the strife and ruined lives today. Again I say, the beasts.

“I doubt it unless every other leftist can be said to be intentionally destroying the economy but then I’m not privy to their motives.”

A great # of leftists fall in the “useful idiot” category. But there are also those who have the tearing down of America so it can be rebuilt as their goal. Obama is in the latter category.

It should be grounds for impeachment and being charged with treason. Ain’t gonna happen though.

I swear I must be terminally dense. Really, I must be. People tell me they or he would do this to remain in power or for the power.

Who the hell wants to preside over a failed nation? How is that power?

I am reminded of a line from Atlas shrugged and I am paraphrasing here: “I couldn’t create his metal but I can take it away from him. I can’t bring men to their knees in admiration, but I can bring them to their knees.”

Or maybe he doesn’t think there will be a fair election.

I agree... it seems like he is ratcheting up his “fundemental transformation” because he knows he won’t have another 4 years to jack with us.

This my FRiend is the “Normalcy Bias” in full throat. The TRUTH is often too uncomfortable for even the most well-informed, intelligent members of a society to fathom.

What do they say when you remind them the Democrats owned it all in 2009 and 2010?

Yes, communism was rampant at the Ivy league institutions prior to the Russian revolution, but they were not a fifth column, working for the Russians against the US.

I think that the early draw in Marxism for the pseudo-intellectual elite was the anti-Christian, humanism of communism, the fact that Marxism offered a man-made, political solution to the chaos of the natural world. If the Marxist could regulate the world, they thought that they could prove man’s superiority and that there is no GOD.

Wow! It would be soooooooo satisfying to have a Cain/West or West/Cain ticket.

The Democrat/Marxists would be apoplectic . The black urban masses would be paralyzed with befuddlement. And,... the Republican conservatives, for once, could have a ticket they could fully support.

When are Americans going to take their country back from these monsters?

I think that too many people are thinking that the 2012 election is going to yield the desired results. Coming from one that was an eternal optimist until about 2 years ago when I finally dug my head out of the bucket of sand, I sadly think that belief is misplaced at this point. No matter who is elected and whatever the rINO majority is in place in both houses, too much destruction has been done. To be certain much of it has been taking place for many decades, has been ramped up exponentially in the past 2+ years, and will continue to be for the next 1+ year.

Even if we elect George Washington and fill the Senate and House with Founding Fathers, the damage done to our economy, society, culture, and government will take decades to unwind. The federal gubmint in particular is infested with marxist bureaucrats that will continue this march undeterred. It will come crashing down before it can be undone. Sadly we don't have decades left in which to effect an orderly and systematic reset.

“Wake up and quit being so naive.”

THANK YOU for slapping some of the people upside the head on FR. Everybody, READ the Cloward-Piven Strategy....and then pass it on to everyone you know.

We’ve got one hell of a fight with this enemy and all its tentacles...it will be a battle to the death.

Yup, pure Luciferianism, which Marx wrote as directed by the Bund der Gerechten, Sabbateans all. They know it is "the beautiful lie," guaranteed to fail. And we all know what is supposed to happen when all collapses into chaos. See Sanhedrin 98a.

Many of the progressive leaders who had gone on junkets to Russia to study how they were doing things came back to positions in the Roosevelt administration.

Not to mention the Frankfurt School which, when booted by Hitler, ended up in American universities: Maslow, Fromm, Marcuse, et al.

They saw all the strife and ruined lives as a VIRTUE, just as they do the strife and ruined lives today. Again I say, the beasts.

Gotta destroy that bourgeoisie to have a dictatorship of the proletariat, as directed by them.

Here is the passage in citation:

R. Johanan said: When you see a generation ever dwindling, hope for him [the Messiah], as it is written, And the afflicted people thou wilt save.27 R. Johanan said: When thou seest a generation overwhelmed by many troubles as by a river, await him, as it is written, when the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him;28 which is followed by, And the Redeemer shall come to Zion.29

Now we all can't be saints. So, how can you make the world of sinners but through the lure of "equality"?
