She said when Gingrich admitted to a six-year affair with a Congressional aide, he asked her if she would share him with the other woman, Callista, who is now married to Gingrich.

"And I just stared at him and he said, 'Callista doesn't care what I do,'" Marianne Gingrich told ABC News. "He wanted an open marriage and I refused."

I think people are looking past his baggage and its a big mistake. He has one of the highest negative opinions in surveys of anyone. I agree he is a great debater and thinks well on his feet but that won’t help when the press brings up story after story on his character. That and his huge ego is why I cannot vote for him. This story is just a taste of what is to come if he is our nominee. It is best if any candidate has baggage that it come out early so it cannot be used as effectively against him in the general election.

I don't think so, and here is why.

Man is married to Woman 1 and has affair with Woman 2.
Man divorces Woman 1 and marries Woman 2.
Man is married to Woman 2 and has affair with Woman 3.
Man divorces Woman 2 and marries Woman 3.

Now most women I know would have great sympathy for Woman 1. But Woman 2 got what was coming to her. That's just my experience with how women think in these situations.

Marrianne is Woman 2. She was the one who wrecked his first marriage. I don't know many divorced women who will feel sympathy for “the other woman”.

“Enjoy your fantasy.”

I would rather you continue to enjoy yours. Because that’s the motto of the Santorum run so far. A nowhere candidate that is still living off a screwed up caucus in Iowa as if he won 55 states already.

Now he is just looking to wallow around in Romneys/MSMs dung pile because he thinks he will come out with no smell.

Yeah i’m sure all the soccer moms around the country will just laugh it all off. You know, tnose indepentd women voters, im sure they won’t care one bit. Especially the over 50% of them who have been through a divorce themselves.

Some of us "indepentd women voters" got over our divorces and moved on with our lives. Some of us recognise that God's saving grace applies to Newt as it does to me and to you, if you've asked for it. So, yes, although I've never been a "soccer mom" per se, a good number of women see beyond the tactics of the media. We also understand that for all of us who have had bad things happen in our lives, the blood of Jesus Christ covers and cleanses. I vote for the man I see today.

Many of those “ladies” are voting for Romney’s hair anyway.

So you're saying that this is NOT a breaking bombshell, that it's been reported long ago?

Door 1: Zero - Liar, Marxist, anti-American, muslim, curses America's friends, grovels before her enemies.

Door 2: Newtonium - most powerful and volatile substance known to man. Handle with care. Capable of massive change. Can also go off deep end with whacked out ideas at times. Needs powerful team around him. Needs House and Senate to keep him reigned in. Had affairs in past. Seems to have turned corner. Kids support him.

Door 3: Santorum - Moral guy, family guy, not much in the way of executive experience, comes across like he is in High School at times, couldn't get reelected in his own state after supporting Arleen Spector. It was a very flawed judgement on Rick's part.

Door #4: Willard Romney - raised to comply and become worthy. Has lost every election he ever ran except one. The race he ran was won because he either set aside every moral he had, or really believed in abortion, gay marriage, higher taxes, goverment mandates, etc. Decided that he couldn't win a primary in the R party without running as a conservative. Probably a good administrator. Is exactly the image of the punching bag ZEro wants to run against. Made most of his fortune stripping assets out of weak companies. Legal? Sure. So are ambulance chasing, scum-bag attorneys.

Which Door: Our country needs MASSIVE CHANGE. I only see one choice left that can accomplish that.

“I don’t know how many divorced women will feel sympathy for the other woman”.

Not divorced but I will say this... I have strong feelings about someone this bitter after what? Fourteen years? Dang, Marianne, get some therapy, take a dance class, eat some ice cream and get on with your life. If for no OTHER reason, you don’t slam the father of your children in public for your kid’s sake. Just MHO.

She doesn’t mention her own moral character does she?

She got him the same way Callista did, She screwed a married man.

“He wanted an open marriage and I refused.”

That sure doesn’t beatify her when we all know she didn’t object when he was married before.

Just a scorned woman taking her shot.

"You know, tnose indepentd women voters, im sure they won’t care one bit. Especially the over 50% of them who have been through a divorce themselves."

That particular group is a real mixed bag. They can be threatened by strong attractive women so most many hate Palin. Regardless, they did help push hussein in '08. But that majority disappeared in '10. Now recent reports show them abandoning that side in droves, primarily over concern of fiscal issues rather than social.

If Newt can play this without appearing overly defensive or attacking, it will disappear soon enough.

"Newt definitely has a problem w/female voters already, but this neither hurts or helps him, I think its a wash."

Why does Newt have a problem with women voters? Appearance?

“So you’re saying that this is NOT a breaking bombshell, that it’s been reported long ago?”

It’s about to be a breaking bombshell, as it will be televised on a major news station tonite for all the nation to see, not just those who are inside baseballers like us, or those who read the Esquire magazine interview. Now the whole nation will hear about this. Seems like a bombshell about to explode to me.
