If you could choose how to spend the night before vote to hold you in contempt of Congress, would you go to a barbecue with the people who hold your fate in their hands? Eric Holder must really like hot dogs.

A vote is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon when everyone Holder spoke with at the barbecue (excluding husbands, wives and kids) will vote on whether or not Holder will is guilty of contempt of congress.

These fellows could in principle send Holder to prison and they’re all behaving like actors backstage of an opera where the actor who plays the villain yuks it up together with the actress playing the heroine.
It’s almost enough to want a return of the old Congresses in which they’d whack each other with walking canes.
What must it be like to socialize with a facilitator of mass murder? Holder’s rifles have been traced to over 200 deaths, so far, and the killing will go on for years.

One of the most violent episodes in congressional history took place in this chamber on May 22, 1856. The Senate was not in session when South Carolina Representative Preston S. Brooks entered the chamber to avenge the insults that Massachusetts Senator Charles Sumner had levelled at Brooks’ cousin, Senator Andrew P. Butler. Sumner’s “Crime Against Kansas” speech of May 19-20 was sharply critical, on a personal level, of Butler and several other senators who had supported the “popular sovereignty” provisions of the 1854 Kansas-Nebraska Act. Sumner was addressing copies of the speech at his desk when Brooks began his attack, striking the northern senator repeatedly with a walking cane, which splintered with the force of the blows.
Although two House members intervened to end the assault, Sumner, who had ripped his desk loose from the bolts holding it to the floor in his effort to escape, was rendered unconscious. He regained consciousness shortly after the attack, but it would be three years before he felt able to resume his senatorial duties.
The caning of Senator Sumner signalled the end of an era of compromise and sectional accommodation in the Senate, further heightening the discord that culminated in war after eleven southern states seceded from the Union during the winter of 1860-1861.
Actually, it’s a smart move on his part. It will give the others a chance to see him in an informal atmosphere and not sitting at a table defending himself while under oath.
Beneath that humble boyish smile and all the ‘handshaking and hugging’ lies an evil deceptive murderer. I wouldn’t be surprised if he didn’t show up with his wife, kids and the family dog. Whatever it takes to appear as a normal human being and not the scumbag liar that he is.

Everyone keeps saying: “200 deaths”. The correct number is over 300 Mexicans killed. Many were innocent men, women and children. Has anyone bothered to inform the Mexicans in the U.S. (legally and illegally) that their Dear Leader, had 300 innocent people killed in their homeland?
Kinda like watching a real life Physcopath in action.
I remember the lawyers from both sides would get in front of the cameras and complain about the other, and once the cameras were gone they all go down to the pub for a drink together.
