It is now well known that the Obama justice department has prosecuted more government leakers under the 1917 Espionage Act than all prior administrations combined - in fact, double the number of all such prior prosecutions. But as last week's controversy over the DOJ's pursuit of the phone records of AP reporters illustrated, this obsessive fixation in defense of secrecy also targets, and severely damages, journalists specifically and the newsgathering process in general.

This is a pretty long, convoluted article, but it is, imo, a must read. The Ozero administration has literally criminalized the act of journalism. Reporters of all ideological stripes, from the NY Times to Fox News, are being indicted by Ozero’s DOJ and will be facing jail time.
This is a huge scandal that has the potential to align most of the entire media against the Ozero thugocracy.
At that is the issue.
They don’t need us to fund them.
Not the time to go ex-pat now. They’ve been exposed! Now’s the time to go after them. If everything dies back down & no one is punished, THEN we can be assured the country is lost & we might as well escape to Belize or some place nice to enjoy our last few years.

Obama could be indicted under the very same Espionage Act, so could Holder.
That's incorrect. No reporters have actually been indicted. Rosen is essentially an "unindicted co-conspirator" under the law.
Risen (not Rosen) was subpoenaed to testify in a whistleblower prosecution case. He is refusing at this point. If the Court orders him to testify, he says he will not. At that point, the Court can hold him in contempt and jail him.

The article is worth the read. They essentially fabricated criminal behavior in order to get the warrant to search his personal emails.
