replace them with DINO's

At least you have a strategy. We've known for at least a week that the establishment was going to game this election. Besides complain, what exactly did the conservatives do about it to counter it?

Again, we're told that they had a high number of absentee ballots turned in. Apparently, we haven't figured out a ground game that matches that.

You've got to give them credit. They're better at elections than we are...more organized, more focused, more ruthless. I remember here on FR during the hanging chad war after Bush/Gore a number of freepers saying that if the pubs didn't fight that recount, then they were done with them.

Conservatives have a habit of talking big and then not doing anything themselves. (Unless, as is the case with Rinos vs conservatives -- like Rommey -- in which they love to bloody conservatives.)

Of course you are correct that is why the Rats ran out to help Cochran..

Not so he could win the general. They helped him because they felt he was easier to beat.

First, he needs to challenge the vote.. They where cheating and it will come out.

He also needs to keep running against the liberals in the rate and get his name out there.

The GOP is broken. Until it is fixed, it really doesn’t matter what the Dems do.

I don't disagree there... but for years we've talked about the urgency of knocking Harry Reid off his perch in the Senate. As long as we calculate who we hate worse... the likes of Thad Cochran or Reid.

Conservatives have a habit of talking big and then not doing anything themselves.

I think the trend is not going to be good for the GOP in general. The war on conservatives from within the GOP will increase the number of people who will not come out to vote for the GOP in general elections. I suspect I am not all that atypical. I've voted in every election since Ford was on the ballot. I voted for the "lesser of two evils" if only to try and get conservative judges appointed. The result has been a steady decline in the character of this country and a SCOTUS that has ruled I am property of the State and can be compelled to buy products and services the State deems neccessary.

From my perspective the damage has been done. What's the point in voting for GOPe candidates. They will not role back the tyranny of the State. They will claim they can manage it better.

I'm sure a growing number of Tea Party supporters feel the same way. So why go to the polls if no conservatives are on the ballot? The Pubs will have gains in Nov., but not as much as they should have and the war on conservatives will probably cost them the House in 2022 after redistricting.

“As long as we calculate who we hate worse... the likes of Thad Cochran or Reid.”

Both called me racist for not supporting Obamacare.

Both will vote for amnesty.

Given the 250K donation from Bloomberg, Cochran will likely vote for some sort of ‘reasonable’ gun control.

Remind me again the differences?

It’s true, wmfights. If you don’t trust your quarterback, you’ll just run your routes without any passion.

For me, that is a tough calculation to make. They have the same face; a part of the machine that is grinding away at our liberties every day. If you are thinking “things will get better once _______ is gone” or “If ________ was in charge, we could start turning things around”, you have not yet identified what the real problem is and you are punching at shadows.

It isn’t about splitting the GOP vote. The GOP is now a fiction.

It is about splitting the ‘big government’ vote to enable the small government candidate to win.

Louisiana once had a law that primary voters automatically agreed in casting their ballot to support the party’s nominee in the general election. It was either struck down or was never enforced.

People keep saying Chris should run independent now for the Senate. Is that even possible? Does MS like TX have a “sore loser” law.

I have never worked a primary election but have always been told that to vote in the runoff, you must have voted in the primary of the party having the runoff.

BTW, it makes sense.

Uber RINO Haley Barbour got out the democrat vote for his buddy old man Cochoran. McDaniels should run as a independent.
RINOs steal elections are good as their brother democrats.

Cochran's name reminds me of cockroach.

I consider that Cochran has used cockroaching in this primary...

Maybe conservatives should put this label on Thad Cochran -- the COCKROACH Senator from Mississippi

he can't run as an independent. the deadline was january. he could run as a write-in, but those votes only count if someone on the ballot dies.
