Longtime Hillary Clinton ally Sidney Blumenthal will testify this month before the House Select Committee on Benghazi behind closed doors.
The committee subpoenaed him a few weeks ago after a report revealed that he had sent misleading and sometimes inaccurate emails about Libya directly to Clinton while she was Secretary of State.
According to Bloomberg, the Benghazi committee will speak to Blumenthal on June 16th in a closed session.
The committee will presumably grill Blumenthal on the aforementioned emails, including one that made the inaccurate claim that the Benghazi attack could be sourced back to a YouTube video in an email Clinton forwarded.

Remember how in 1998, after he testified in Kenneth Starr’s investigation, he came out and lied blatantly about what he had been asked in the closed session.
He gets the courtesy of closed doors. Does he also het an exemption from being under oath? I smell a huge cover up by the GOP. They have already given up on the IRS Scandal and have no intention of charging Hillary with tax fraud for using the Foundation as a Piggy Bank/Slush Fund/PAC. Numerous laws being broken. I don’t if Sid will give them anything at all

The crimes committed here are so numerous that they boggle even the most astute mind. Just for starters: Collusion, conspiracy, bribery, govt fraud, falsified documents, wire transfers, accounting fraud, misuse of govt position, etc, etc, etc.
Although Blumenthal was banned from govt employment, from his paid perch as her employee at the Clinton Foundation, he sent Secy of State Hillary memos on Libya that she forwarded (unattributed and unquestioned)....even as Blumenthal's agit-prop caused eye-rolling among State Dept pros.
Hillary portrays herself as the picture of openness, that she wants her e-mails public as soon as possible. But the Clinton-Blumenthal emails were cleansed off her server until a Romanian hacker came forward.
The Clinton Foundation slush fund---AKA a "charity"---is now exposed as a holding tank for Clinton political operatives.....looks like the various "Clinton charities" are uninformed about the Foundation's aiding the Clintons scheme to return to power.
Blumenthal was sending Hillary memos about Libya at the same time that he was in league with people trying to make money in Libya. Did Blumenthal’s would-be business associates get together and say: “We need to find the best expert we can on North Africa, someone who understands the subtleties of Libyan politics: "Let's get Sidney Blumenthal."
More likely it was: “We need to find someone who has a back channel to Hillary so the State Dept will give our venture the most favorable possible consideration. Let’s get Sidney Blumenthal!” (EDITED EXCERPTS---RICH LOWRY---NY POST OP-ED)

SID B. is the link that shows the Clinton foundation is a “for profit Policitcal organization”. Clinton hid the emails with Classified Material. How does she hide the fact that a paid political ally was providing information to the SOS. I believe this is just as bad. It is in fact criminal. The entire Clinton foundation is a Political organization and Sid’s emails prove same. No wonder the GOP wants him in closed session. They want to hide everything. Why have they not investigated the Clintons? Because they don’t want to.

Or, more likely, the committee will comparing notes on the latest cocktail party gossip, how he developed such a great golf swing this year, and exchange insider trading tips from constituents.
Then call it a day.
If the people questioning aren’t smart enough to know the answers before they ask him in order to catch him in his lies, then he’s not worth calling for questions. These people have no scruples and will lie under oath without batting an eye. They get away with numerous crimes that us regular people out here would go to jail for in a minute. Look at Rick Perry. He’s under indictment for basically nothing. Why aren’t Bill and Hillary. The Republicans better not be participating in a cover up. I can’t stand these politicians. No lower scum on earth.
The Dems have perfected answers to Congress that keep them from penalties such as obstruction of justice, perjury or contempt of Congress.

OK, somebody help me out here: Is there a Conservative on that Committee that has balls? Somebody who will not let Blumenthal weasel? Plz don’t say Trey Gowdy. He’s basically just a media whore. He didn’t have the balls to show up when the vote on the Speaker took place. Screw him and his funky hair-do.

The committee was appointed by Boehner and Pelosi (5 Democrat members) so there are no secrets that Gowdy has that Democrats don’t know, and committee powers are limited to writing a report and appealing to Boehner to make it a bigger issue. Gowdy’s a victim of unrealistic expectations.
Do you think being under oath means anything to him? He’ll tell them whatever he feels like even the truth if it suits him but he’ll never ever compromise Hillary.
