Conservative Treehouse ^ | March 21, 2016 | Sundance

Posted on 03/21/2016 3:47:43 PM PDT by detective

When candidate Donald Trump announced his candidacy to run for President last year we knew immediately there would be a seismic shift in the political landscape. Those who have followed politics in the last 8+ years suspected the 2016 race would inevitably boil down to Globalists -vs- U.S. Nationalists.

If you are going to be a contributor here, more than sentence fragments and drive by insults, please. Come on, you can do better, let’s conjure up a cogent, factual well thought out sentence. We have enough mouth breathers here.

Yesterday, I posted a vanity to debunk one of Levin’s smear of Trump allegedly being a ‘statist’ ...

... but ...

I don’t think Mark Levin has the power to blacklist these people. Is he calling for a blacklist? I don’t get it.

Cruz is apparently too conservative for most republicans. Otherwise, Kasich would be nowhere right now rather than able to leech away 17% of support.

In the meantime, Trump is the most patriotic.

Muslim Ban. Cruz opposes.

Waterboarding. Cruz says ‘no comment’.

Confrontational about rent-a-mob leftists. Cruz blames Trump for their antics.

Cruz is the reason why Cruz is so far behind. And that gap will continue to widen.

It’s about Globalist (aka the Establishment) vs Nationalist

Why is this so hard for some people to understand? Nice post. Bump!

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, and Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., penned a joint op-ed for the Wall Street Journal Wednesday calling on Congress to pass Trade Promotion Authority legislation.

Cruz was for TPA/TPP until the blow back from voters showed TPA/TPP to be very unpopular. Then flip flopping Cruz invented his "Mitch tricked me into voting for it" excuse. Did Mitch trick Ted into writing the op-ed too?

I wrote Levin off years ago, so nothing to surprise me here : )

Just because x got 6 million votes doesn’t mean he’s more or less popular than y who got 7 million votes.

Actually, you look at how many ways the vote was split, you look at how many how voted after the same number of primaries, and you look at if more had been energized to vote in one year versus the next.

So, yes, looking at a percentage isn't always the mathematical story you want to tell. It appears that THIS year, percentage is not the story.

If Ted is stupid, why is Don acting like such a spoiled coward in refusing to debate him one-on-one? Donald, John Soros Kasich and I agree on one major point: that Banana Don and Liberal John would get their asses kicked inside out in a debate with Ted Cruz.
Face it; your man is a coward. And you are a comedy act!

you gave an opinion. what legislation has Cruz written to help GS??? None. So your opinion is pointless, silly and rubbish

You really have no clue what we are fighting in Washington DC do you? You ignore the power brokers that own politicians, that is a huge part of the problem. Cruz has demonstrated he is more and more of that establishment but you ignore that all together because you blindly follow him. Go ahead and continue your blindness and your unrealistic Ted Cruz purity conservative claims, at least there is more people here that see him for who he really is. They don't live in your wacky world.

I don't understand some of the posters here, who block out reality, lie, refuse to accept the truth, and are vicious to those who post facts.

I don't get it either, it's like cult worship of all things Ted Cruz. It's really weird and unnatural. Cruz is just a man and subject to man's faults just like anyone else is. The more Cruz is vetted here, the more unstable they become.

I for one, after looking long and hard at both candidates have come to the understanding, Donald Trump is far from perfect but his message and platform as well as his demeanor, may be the right person for the job at the right time.

Levin has got to go.  He is poisoning the conservative movement.  So to you Levin, I say, "Get out, you Dope!"

I really hope Michael Savage captures the biggest market share in the late afternoon timeslot.  When that happens, Levin will go ballistic.

Perhaps Levin suspects that his days as a radio kingfish are numbered.  That's why he started his TV show.

see Alan Ryskind’s book “Reds in Hollywood” or a similar title. His father Morrie led the fight in the Screenwriters Guild against the Communists and was partially successful.

The blacklist of anti-communists long preceded the blacklisting of Communists. Just a historical fact.

Unfortunately Kirk Douglas, a hardcore liberal, helped to break the industry’s blacklist by helping Dalton Trumbo get credit for Spartacus (which Douglas starred in).

I think today, in his final years, he has begun to regret what he did. It was just a little noticed comment he made late last year or early this year about Russian aggression in the Ukraine that caught my attention. Unfortunately I have no idea where I saw it unless it was in the Wash. Post’s Style section where anti-communism has been banned for decades.

Re Cruz. At least give him credit for believing in God. On the Left, you don’t hear that from Hillary or Bernie or the covert Indian Fauxchohantus Warren.

By the way, Cruz took Trump to the cleaners today in his condemnation remarks about the ISIS-claimed attack in Brussels. Donald didn’t do too badly but he just can’t express himself the way Cruz does. Something to work on, The Donald.

He didn’t just rant and rave. He kept threatening NP, saying he’d meet “him” and beat him up, name calling NP, and so on. It was that specific incident, that put the last nail in the coffin of my dislike for that ass Levin. It was not the first time he’d done that to someone on FR, but it may have been the last.

The way he attacks this Sundance personality, is similar to what he did to NP on Free Republic.

Maybe you remember that Levin & Hannity once called into some talk show together and harassed Alec Baldwin. I was embarrassed FOR them, because their gig wasn’t funny and Baldwin handed them their heads, because neither was as informed as Baldwin was. It didn’t help our side to have those two making us look like full-on inarticulate cuckoos.
