Veteran pollster John Zogby sent out an Uh-oh alert Saturday night noting that heading into Sunday, two key voting groups that had shifted toward Barack Obama by the Saturday before the 2012 election and that gave him his landslide victory were not moving Democrat Hillary Clintons way four days before Tuesdays election.
The two groups were 18-29 year olds and self-identified members of the Creative Class were clearly moving in the presidents direction both nationwide and in the battleground states, he said.
But heres what Mr. Zogby sees as of Saturday night:
After serious doubts expressed among mainstream and traditional conservative Republicans about nominee Donald Trump, it looks like he is polling about 90 percent of self-identified Republicans, exactly where a party standard-bearer needs to be.
Second, young African Americans are not quite in Clintons Camp this is a serious cause for concern among supporters of Mrs. Clinton.
Snip
Sure its huge, said Mr. Zogby, but it also means that 15 percent are still not sure about her or are supporting someone else.
When I see African Americans who are undecided, especially this late in the game, it tells me that they are not going to vote, Mr. Zogby says.
snip
More alarming for Mrs. Clinton is evidence that millennials may stay home.
About one in five young voters are still undecided. Mr. Zogby notes they were the key group, especially young women, who put Mr. Obama over the top in 2012. We are still not sure if they are going to even vote. We do know they will not support Mr. Trump, but Mrs. Clinton is still polling around 50 percent of 18-29 year olds and many are telling pollsters and reporters that she represents the Establishment, something they reject.

Good news!
As it stands now, even with the biased MSM polls, Pa is a tie.
He’s not gone back far enough IMO. He should be saying “shades of 1980.”
Hillary is caught in the horns of a dilemma.
If she does nothing the millenials and minorities don’t turnout to vote for her.
If she does positive advertising the millenials don’t believe her and the minorities are ticked off she is carpet bombing them with ads instead of showing up in person.
If she does negative advertising it depresses millennial voter turnout because the young idealists hate negative ads.
If she attacks Trump on “sex” negative ads the minorities get ticked because the Clintons were the ones who said “its just about sex” issues shouldn’t matter.
I have followed political strategy for many years and I have never this type of situation where a candidate had totally painted themselves into a corner.
Bye bye Hillary—melting...melting...melting.
That strike could become a problem. It will result in long lines and my guess is that the voting will be permitted by a judge to remain open longer maybe as long as 10PM EST. By that time they will know how many votes they need to make up to win PA
True -
Under 30s are a tough crowd for a 70 year old to energize. Crooked needs to win under 30s by something on order 70:30. Under 30 women see Crooked as a cranky-out-of-touch-rich-square. Rather, Crooked needs these young women to see her as the very embodiment of women’s liberation. It hasn’t happened.
And yes - Tuesday’s Thene Songs will be:
1) Ding Dong The Witch is Dead
2) I love the smell of Napalm in the Morning, Smells like victory
If I remember correctly Obama hit the college campuses very hard. I don’t think Clinton has.
I’ve thought for some time that young females and blacks in general see right through Hillary. Even if only 15-20% of them don’t vote for her, she’s got a big problem.
Also, most millennial women get their news from alternative sources, not the MSM, which is obviously pulling for Hillary. They also know that rags like HuffPo are hysterical in their anti-Trump bias, and it turns them off. They’re not dummies.
Blacks? They know they’re being pandered to by Hillary and the Dims. What’s more, they know they’re taken for granted, and a lot of them are ready to step off the plantation to see what happens.
I have reminding Sanders voters that they don’t owe Hillary anything.
Except that, apparently Uber and Lyft are giving free rides. I hope they ask proof of citizenship first lol. It is funded by some PAC.
Starry eyed idiot idealists are what put 0bama in office the first time. That and one of the worst Republican candidates in history.
“...there is an ongoing transit strike in Philly which should suppress the heavily Democratic urban/ghetto vote....”

Unfortunately, we can’t underestimate the willingness of ‘RAT appointed judges to use things such as this as an excuse to extend voting periods of such ‘RAT areas by extra hours AND EXTRA DAYS IF THE ‘RATS need more time to manufacture votes.
Expect the expected.
If so, decent people need to take advantage of those rides, and go everywhere. Swamp any free urban ride program.
The Clinton campaign is run by a committee of apparatchiks who have no other job experience and who have been managing her for years, if not decades. Money has been no object. There are tons of it and they are very experienced in how to get more. She has traded on her gender, her name and formulaic racial/gender/economic divisions. She staked out an emotional territory and spent years defending it, sort of a political Maginot Line.
Trump largely controls his own campaign, influenced by a lifetime of real business experience. While he is a billionaire with hundreds of dollars a year in available income, he knows money can evaporate and utilized this resource efficiently. He has traded on fifty years of actual experience and success in the business world, which includes knowing how to recognize potential failure and how to recover from actual failure. He has presented himself as the archetypal Hero, making his campaign about the country and the populace. He waged a mostly nimble, multi-front guerilla campaign.
This “smartest woman in the world”, with her dedicated and too-smart-by-half crew, totally missed some truths about the 21st century: vast information is available to nearly everyone; people are less and less walled off into easily identified divisions; her three most essential demographics (youth/communities of color/women)are more fluid than they were in the past. All this makes it more difficult to manipulate them with obsolete memes.
Donald is that guy most ethnic males want to emulate. As one black supporter said:”He’s a baller.” Many women see him as the brash, annoying guy who nevertheless can and will be counted on to take care of them. He can perform most of the 100 essential tasks Heinlein outlined as essential.Over time, this is endearing. The unindoctrinated youth recognize him as an unconventional leader.
Humans recognize strong leaders almost by instinct. Progs have tried to eradicate that sort of response, but it’s hormonal and genetically determined. Hillary’s strength was an illusion created by a corrupt media. Donald’s strength is pheromone-based and by-passes the gaslighting.
Watching this unfold, I’ve come to doubt Clinton even had a strategy and what strategy she displayed was stale and over-managed. Donald tacked with the wind and hewed to the truth.
No contest.
‘He is a billionaire with hundreds OF MILLIONS of dollars a year in income...”
Sorry. Not enough coffee.
Great intelligent post.
Good post. I have been thinking along the same lines. We won’t know until late Tuesday.
Don’t forget, those DNC operatives running the voter fraud campaign might be intimidated by her tactics from their first hand knowledge, and cast their multiple votes for Trump instead of her. A landslide might be in the making.
