MSNBC: Border Wall Even More Problematic Because Birds and Bats Might Not Be Able To Fly Over It-lol

Video...Comic relief.

Public service announcement: the border wall is even more problematic because animals and birds might be impacted. I wish I was kidding, but MSNBC ran a segment with biologist Jeff Corwin, where the latter said jaguars, the Mexican gray wolf, bats, and some birds might be impacted by the border wall’s construction.

VIDEO

“It would be an unprecedented environmental catastrophe,” said Corwin to host Craig Melvin.

Melvin began the segments discussing Rep. Raul Graijalva (D-AZ) and the Center for Biological Diversity’s lawsuit against the federal government over the border enforcement project. In California, the state legislature is considering punishing construction firms that participate in building the wall.

“It would be an unprecedented environmental catastrophe,” said Corwin...

You thought Pompeii was bad? You thought Krakatoa was bad? You thought the Tunguska Event was bad? You thought the Cretaceous–Tertiary extinction was bad? Hell no! This, this is bad!

Corwin really needs to get out more.

"Melvin began the segments discussing Rep. Raul Graijalva (D-AZ) and the Center for Biological Diversity’s lawsuit against the federal government over the border enforcement project."

The irony is the more habitats are fragmented (say an island, a moutain chain, a river, a... wall), the more biodiversity there is because isolated populations of the same species always evolve divergently. That's not only a tautology, it's an established scientific fact backed by zillions of real-life observations. So logically the "Center for Biological Diversity" should applaud a wall, not sue against it. Oh I forgot, facts and logic mean nothing for the enviro-nazis and leftists.

Some species of birds can’t fly. And jaguars do live in that area.

So some Libtard claims a bat can’t fly over a thirty foot high wall? ? ?

That is an excellent example of “Bat Sh*t Crazy”.

They have plans to register birds, bats, wolves and jaguars as Democrat voters. The wall would deny them another voting block.

The Democrats must have figured out a way to register these animals as new Democrat voters.

The f*cking hypocrites! They said not a word about the windmills that are slicing birds into pieces, and the solar collectors that are roasting birds! Nothing.

It’s only because Trump is putting the wall up that they are finding reasons to complain.

This mess with the jaguars has been brewing here for a while. Funny thing is until recent years a jaguar would only seen here about once every 20 years, everyone knew they didn’t live here and were just straying in from Mexico. Then a rancher/hunter took a picture of one he encountered in the U.S. and the environmentalists lost their mind. One was captured as part of a study, and it was later proven that he was lured here from Mexico using scent from female jaguar. Below is a couple of links about the jaguar situation but there are tons of info out there if anyone is interested.

As to the effect on border wall or enforcement- President Bush issued a waiver of environmental and other concerns (like Indian ruins) as part of the Fence Act. I hope that waiver is still in place but if not I hope President Trump will be able to do the same.

Macho B dead, El Jefe is MIA. Macho B was lured into U.S. and that was proven so I no longer believe any story about any jaguar in U.S. even photos can easily be taken in Mexico or doctored:

I was in Hollywood last night and I saw a bird have trouble flying in the breeze around a tall building. He had to adjust his flying like crazy. How dare we humans build these frustrating obstacles? And it is no coincidence that our President builds such structures! I’m starting to think Trump is antibird.
