I can attest to this. My daughter is enrolling as a Freshman at Texas Tech, and at the orientation, at least 60-70% of the incoming Freshman I saw were girls.
Who didn’t see this coming?

Women went over 50% of the college enrollments and graduates in the area of undergraduates as well as graduate and professional schools years ago.
Inequality? After all of the years of lamenting, and pushing programs to get more women into colleges and professional fields it seems they won the battle but refuse to admit victory. Men are still the enemy, and every attempt to marginalize them to promote women is still ongoing.
Surprise? Colleges want White males only for their money, and then they trash them, call them oppressors, discriminate against them, and expel them when a feeble-minded flake accuses them of anything she can make up in her distorted mind.
Tired of setting one foot on campus, staring at a pretty girl for more than four seconds, then being brought-up on sexual harassment charges before a kangaroo court.
And on 7% of them are getting STEM degrees. The rest are getting their SJWs

At my sons college graduation is seemed like 85% of the graduates were female. Nobody in my family noticed.
Yes. Back in the 60-70’s there a frequent meme that said ‘a woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle’.Really?? I recognized decades ago, that men were actively being discriminated against simply to promote women. Now in many areas, women have the upper hand......has life gotten better for anyone? Life in these United States seems much less ‘happy’ than it used to be........

The company that I work for rents space at the local community college campus for company training.
Looking around on a weekday during a semester, I noticed two things:
1: The majority of the CC students were female, and
2: The largest class or subject is ESL.
A rough estimate would be 3:1 female/male.
This local CC also recently discontinued most of their STEM, Ag, and CS programs.
In a part of the country (Pacific Northwest), where all of those fields have a high demand for just those type of skills and knowledge.

It could be the obvious: Affirmative Action.
Ten years ago I used to give a talk every semester to the Premeds at a local State U. I was not surprised to see the classes were less than 5% white male. Mostly racial minorities, almost all female. This was ten to eight years ago. I am certain it is worse now.
At that campus as I was walking to and fro, the students were well over 90% female.
