COVID is becoming so mild that its symptoms now look like the common cold. The most common symptoms of the virus are now sore throat, sneezing, or congestion — the same as RSV, asthma, or a pollen allergy.
The reason is because most Americans are now immune.
In the early stages of the pandemic, COVID-19 had very distinct symptoms, such as a dry cough and a loss of taste or smell. However, the new variants are more infectious but less deadly. As a result, the symptoms of COVID-19 are now more similar to those of other respiratory illnesses.
If you’re wondering how they will spin this into something they can use to exploit their agenda, wonder no more they are mocking doctors who are reporting this, And quite a few are.
Some say doctors are saying that because they don’t have COVID tests. And that’s a bad thing?

Perhaps the fear pron crowd has lost that battle, but here in my little town of ~3000 people, there are folks re-donning their face diapers on their own.
The fear-mongers have won more folks over than you realize.
It might be. But we have herd immunity. And the virus is weaker now. That's not where we were at back in 2020.
I must have been immune to covid before Fauci and the ChiComs invented it.
Haven’t had a cold in 50 years.
This is with being slightly overweight, pre-diabetic, and with A Fib related heart failure.
oddly, this is exactly what we conservatives said would happen all along.
I used to get the flu twice a year in my 20s but it has now been 40 years since the last bout of that.
Maybe it’s 52 years of tobacco smoking!?
Though back when I smoked cigarettes I would have sinus congestion every winter. When I quit, it immediately went away, even though I was still smoking weed all day, every day.
I always found that weed opened my lungs and tobacco restricted them ... but I stubbornly keep smoking the latter even though I stopped using the former quite a few years ago.
I do have some sinus congestion, especially in the winter, so you may have given me a reason to finally drop the ciggies. I have found that a supplement called Serrapeptase drains and dries my sinuses pretty well but doesn’t make them too dry.
There are seven corona viruses.
Four have been circulating for years causing cold like symptoms: 229E, NL63, OC43, and HKU1. Then there are the deadly ones, SARS, MERS, and finally Covid-19.
SARS-CoV-2 has an error correction system which retarded the rapid viral evolution which normally makes a disease more contagious but also much safer. Crucial interfering mutations in the nsp14 protein described in the spring 2021 (please correct me) have accelerated mutation rates enough to make the doctors’ observations perfectly believable.
Interesting comment. Do you have a reference?
Is it known why MERS and SARS are more deadly than SARS-CoV-2?
Ok. I am 4 days into Covid myself. I am 100 percent certain of previous exposure. I am also a nurse. I am 53, fit, and healthy with no underlying health issues. I have had many many colds in my lifetime, and this is no common rhinovirus. I had 3 days of fever over 101 degrees and all the fun that goes along with that. It is similar to a bad case of influenza…
Not going to enter the fray over vaccinations here but to make it sound as though ,when you get covid you just sneeze a couple times and that’s it is just not the truth.
I was on the NCL Joy in Nov 2019, when it docked in San Pedro. There were waiting ambulances to whisk away Nora Virus patients to the local hospital.
Cruise ships and especially the buffets are a breeding ground for contagious diseases. I like to go on cruise ships, but I use extreme amount of hand sanitizer and avoid the buffet. I also prefer the smaller ships.
Good luck.
Sounds very similar to the beta version I endured in January 2019. Nasty chills, lethargy...then felt that all over again a year later with my first Moderna injection.
My daughter was in medical school when covid hit. She was told that since it was a coronavirus it would mutate to be more contagious but less virulent over time. Which, of course, it has.
IOW, regular doctors knew what the course would be back in early 2020, while Fauci and the media were busy trying to turn it into the Black Plague in peoples’minds. Never let a crisis go to waste...
I got over this newest strain ( Covid e.5) 2 weeks ago. I am assuming that’s what it is was and I did test positive. I did have the original jab and 2 additional jabs. I got Omicron in December 2021.
I’m sorry I listened to anybody about these damn vaccines. I won’t be getting anymore, but I am certain a great deal of damage was done to my immune system with the 3 I did have.
Covid e.g 5 was worse than Omicron for me. I have Chronic Severe Neutropenia and that makes it hard for me to fight off anything.
I’m super p*sped off at my doctors who really pushed me to vaccinate.
I returned home Friday night from a weeklong business trip with a runny nose and sore throat. 12 hour days and a 15 hour drive didn’t help.
Gee, I have a cold. I don’t have covid because I’m not taking a Covid test, so that means I don’t have Covid.
I’m leaving tomorrow morning for the week. With a cold.
Isn’t it interesting that while CoupFlu was allegedly laying waste we never heard about the results of public health testing done to determine whether or not herd immunity had been reached...
Don’t ask, don’t tell.
I’ll just go get my flu shot, as usual.
********
Why bother? It’s for last year’s flu.
It seems everyone I know personally who has had the shots and got Covid had a worse time of it. My neighbors and my niece just keep getting sick - their immune system is shot.
