I just wanted to give everyone an update on MsLady. She had some complications with bleeding and blood clots and had to stay in the hospital for an extra 2 days. She is home now but has a blood clot in a back muscle that is causing a lot of pain and making it difficult to get much needed rest. Her next appointment with the doctor is on Tuesday and she will have a better idea what her prognosis will be.

She sounds great for someone who has been through the ordeal she has and she remains very positive about the entire experience. Her faith and the support of family, church and of course freepers has helped her tremendously.

After she has healed from surgery (about 4 weeks) she will begin chemo and she actually looks forward to losing her hair! I told her we would start a fund to buy her wigs for every day of the week and she wouldn't hear of it, she thinks being bald will be very cool for a while.

She wanted me to let you all know she misses being online but she just isn't up to it yet.

If you have a minute, please send a prayer and a good thought her way, it will mean a lot. Hopefully she will be able to update you on Tuesday, if not I will surely make a post for her.

I pray for MsLady, and congratulate her on her attitude. I pray that she recovers fully, and that God will comfort her and her family.

My friends, I know that it is late. I thank God for another day with my family, I admit that I take them for granted at times.

This morning I found out for certain that a young man, (a former neighbor) had committed suicide, and that a friend of my daughter, who suffered from Multiple Sclerosis, went to be with God yesterday.

I know that whatever troubles I might have, it can never compare to those of others. I have been so blessed, and yet so blind at the same time. Please pray for these two families. I apologize for lack of details, but know that God will fill in the missing pieces. I cannot begin to imagine the pain and suffering of these families, and can only pray that God will comfort them, hold them close, and shower them with love.
