That is basically what I was thinking too. And at the beginning of each one, have a link back to the previous thread so as not to repeat all the links every time.
I am willing to do it part of the time, but wouldn't mind haivng one or two others to alternate. We could set it up so that we are using the same standard format on all threads so that it isn't confused by different styles if posted by different posters. Actually, if done every day or 2, it shouldn't be so bad. It was getting the list of earlier Terri threads for this one that took a little doing. There shouldn't be that many to update for each new thread.
The "hire a witness" program, alive and well.
1, Why hasn't this been done?
2, Who do we contact to see it IS done?
Well, a third question comes to mind.
3, Does no one in Florida care that a law was passed that that WOULD BE DONE?
On the way home from work yesterday as I was praying for Terri and for my own daughter, who is now the age Terri was when she had her injury, I was thinking of how this could be MY daughter. I was remembering a call I got at about 4 in the morning just a few years ago, from a hospital telling me that my daughter had been in car accident and that I should come right away (it happened to be a good 2 hours away) They gave me so little information that all sorts of things were running through my mind on the drive up there. When I finally saw her, she looked like someone had beaten her up, but I was relieved to discover her to be alive and conscious and glad to see me. She was scheduled for immediate surgery for a broken neck. Her left wrist had also been severely crushed and they never expected her to have full use of it again. Thank God there had been no spinal cord damage.
While we were in the family waiting room next to the ICU, there was another family there day and night. Their son, near the same age as our daughter, had been in a car wreck also, and was comatose. The parents had been informed that he would never wake up, was not likely to survive and if he did would be a vegetable. It was awful what they were dealing with. Of course, at such times you thank the good Lord that it was not YOUR child, and then you feel guilty for those thoughts.
I am happy to report that my daughter recovered from her injuries much better and more quickly than anyone had anticipated. But every now and then I think of that family who were not so fortunate and wonder how things went with them and how are they coping.
Anyway, maybe it is because of my daughter and that experience that I feel so close to this case, or at least to this extent. I don't know, but I'm sure that all of you who are parents, especially of beautiful daughters, have at least considered that Terri could have been any one of OUR girls, and that makes us want to be there for her so even more.
I see they haven't put up my comment there yet. I posted that it is murder, plain
and simple and that Jeb Bush and the Florida Legislature did the right thing ...
Telling and/or showing others that Terri is a living, breathing soul can do wonders in the fight against evil.

I'm impressed with the guy for taking a stand. Many of the folks involved in Terri's case in the past seemed to believe "Let George do it," meaning George Felos or George W. Greer.
I hope officials and newscasters will pay attention to Pearse.
Was Bruce Boyer the judge who was overseeing the case, when Pearse was involved, or was George Greer the Judge?
Courts to choose victor in battle over woman's life
Ironically, at the beginning of the case in 1998, it was Felos who requested an independent guardian for Terri Schiavo.Attorney Richard Pearse was appointed, and he issued a report to Judge Bruce Boyer, who then was handling the case. In the report, Pearse said Michael Schiavo was not a credible witness to his wife's end-of-life wishes because he waited several years before coming forward with the claim that she wanted to die. Pearse also noted that Michael Schiavo would benefit financially from her death and be able to move on with his life.
After the report was issued, Felos attacked it and Pearse, and asked that Pearse be removed. Boyer complied.
Boyer never replaced Pearse. And Pearse said he believes a major opportunity was missed because Terri Schiavo has not had her own lawyer in the five years of litigation that have followed. "One of the interesting and ironic aspects of this case is that all of the parties have portrayed themselves as representing her interests," he said. "It's always desirable that a person in Terri's position have an independent representative who has no particular interest in the case other than Terri."
Anderson, who began representing the Schindlers in 2001, said the failure to replace Pearse has hindered the parents' case because Michael Schiavo, as Terri's legal guardian, controls her medical care and even her visitors.
