600 adults age 18+ in each of the 50 states were interviewed by SurveyUSA 12/9/05 to 12/11/05. You must credit SurveyUSA and the media sponsor if you broadcast, print, or cite these results in whole or part. To show how meaningless the poll is, or how uninformed the respondents are, take the example of my two loser senators, Sarbanes and Mikulski. If there's a difference between them, I'm not aware of it, yet Sarbanes comes in at #75 whiles Babs finishes #27.

Then again, maybe Mikulski did so well because of her looks?

I don't believe this figures for a minute.

Makes sense to me. Conservatives hate the senate. Unless you live in Tom Coburn's state you're probably not real satisfied with your senator. So you give lousy ratings, even if you will vote for them again. Add to that the likelihood that the polls were tainted by leftist media and it all equals up.

Lautenberg is dead last. Lautenberg was the last-minute replacement for Toricelli, who the NJ Supremos let be substituted after the deadline in 2002. What a joke.

The only person who could have possibly lost to Lautenberg was Doug Forrester. But he's going to keep buying 'Pubbie primaries in NJ until his money runs out. And he has a lot of money...

My senators are tough-as-nails conservative and they will be re-elected, as they have been in the past. They are very popular. IRC, one of them garnered almost 70% of the vote in their last election.

BTW, you think Lautenberg will lose in liberal NJ just because he's the least popular in a flawed poll.

Exactly. Not a single county in Oklahoma was won by the democrats in the last presidential election, yet Coburn is at 51%.......hmmmmmmmmm

I find the results of this poll in Wiscosnin to be highly suspect.

Good point. Discounting the wishful thinking numbers, there's no way Lindsey Graham polls higher than Jim DeMint here in South Carolina.
