Bout the only thing I think he (Waterston) did that was GOOD and ANTI COMMUNIST was "KILLING FIELDS" highlighting the horrendous Cambodian Khmer Rouge.
But even then, that moving had strong tinges of blaming everything on the USA instead of Pol Pot, and even at that, at the end of the movie, somehow the invading Communist Vietnamese Army were made out as some heroes, coming in just in the nick of time.

LOL!!
D’Onofreo could do a pregnant pause while leaning slightly forward at the waist.
Caruso could look at us sideways with his head tilted slightly down.
Shatner could mumble about Mad Cow Disease while waving around a pistol.
Sounds like a guaranteed hit to me :-)
Oh, in the reprise Caruso could do his famous, “puttin’ on the shades” schtick.
