Blogger admits Hawaii birth certificate forgery, subverting Obama claims (Uh-oh)

Jay McKinnon, a self-described Department of Homeland Security-trained document specialist, has implicated himself in the production of fraudulent Hawaii birth certificate images similar to the one endorsed as genuine by the Barack Obama campaign, and appearing on the same blog entry where the supposedly authentic document appears.

The evidence of forgery and manipulation of images of official documents, triggered by Israel Insider's revelation of the collection of Hawaii birth certificate images on the Photobucket site and the detective work of independent investigative journalists and imaging professionals in the three weeks since the publication of the images, implicate the Daily Kos, an extreme left blog site, and the Obama campaign, in misleading the public with official-looking but manipulated document images of doubtful provenance.

The perceived unreliability of the image has provoked petitions and widespread demands for Obama to submit for objective inspection the paper versions of the "birth certificate" he claimed in his book Dreams from My Father was in his possession, as well as the paper version of the Certificate of Live Birth for which the image on the Daily Kos and the Obama "Fight the Smears" website was supposedly generated.

Without a valid birth certificate, Obama cannot prove he fulfills the "natural born citizen" requirement of the Constitution, throwing into doubt his eligibility to run for President.

McKinnon, who says he is 25-30 years old, operates a website called OpenDNA.com and uses the OpenDNA screen name on various web sites and blogs, including his comments and diary on The Daily Kos. In recent years he has divided his time between Long Beach, California and Vancouver, British Columbia. He is a Democratic political activist, frequent contributor to the left wing Daily Kos blog, and a fervent Barack Obama supporter.

Here's a link to an interview from Stanley's high school friend, Susan Blake. She talks about Stanley's visit to WA in late Aug with “BARRY”, shortly after his birth. So was Barry his birth name, and then he changed it to Barack Hussein Obama during his college years? Seems like a reporter should ask him when he started requesting people to stop calling him Barry and start calling him Barack.

And why did Obama go to Bali, Indonesia in the 90’s to finish his first book about his Muslim Father? Seems he finds peace reciting the Muslim call to prayer and spending time in Indonesia.

According to a report in the New York Times quoting the Presidential candidate's half-sister, Maya Soetoro-Ng, Senator Obama retreated to the island of “Bali for several months with his wife, Michelle, to find a peaceful sanctuary where there were no phones.”

The Balinese writing sabbatical took place after Obama’s graduation from Harvard Law School in the eaqrly 1990s.

Nice to know he continues to get great inspiration from Indonesia. Too bad their tourism has declined greatly since the 2002 Bali Bombings.

How old does she look in the picture? If OBH was 10, she'd have to be 28? Or if they are photo-shopped, it could when she was 3 months pregnant, and the Dad/OBH pic was photo-shopped.

How old does Stanley look?

Article linked below could help a lot with timelines (if it’s reliable, yeah I know, TIME Magazine.....). Reporter says that when Obama’s mother prepared to marry and take him to Indonesia in 1967 (she met Lolo Sotoro, her 2nd husband, also at U. of Hawaii just as with her 1st), that neither she nor Barack, Jr. had ever been out of the country - article states she was obtaining 1st passport for both of them.

If so, that would blow apart speculation that Barack, Jr. was born out of the country (unless this is disinformation). But at this point I’m not seeing any reason to doubt the basic timeline in this article.......

More and more confusing all the time...Obama in those images would appear to be of the age he was when he was living in Indonesia, and his mother's pregnancy would then have been with obama's half-sister.

Just a late night thought. Remember the hoopla two three months ago about a lack of security in candidates’ passport info. Much of the evidence pointed to Hillary’s people being behind it. Maybe they were looking for the same info on Obama’s qualifications.If that’s the case then this is a futile search. If such evidence existed Hillary and her flying monkeys would have found it.

That is true, but with the #, you could verify all of the info on this exact document, and that is why they blanked it out.

"Letters of verification may be issued in lieu of certified copies (HRS §338-14.3). This document verifies the existence of a birth/death/marriage/divorce certificate on file with the Department of Health and any other information that the applicant provides to be verified relating to the vital event. - link

In other words one could verify all the other information on the purported Obama birth certificate without the certificate number.

I suppose that it is true that if there were some additional information on the birth certificate besides the certificate number and the information already presented, one could not get at that. But it does not appear that certified copies of Hawaii birth certificates contain any additional information that may have possibly been present on original birth certificates. It is not clear if the HSDS would even have records of this.

I know it says San Francisco on the wall. But if you go to the Webb site (which I finally got to) this is what it says underneath.

"Barack Obama Sr. poses with his son in the Honolulu airport during Obama Sr.’s only visit to see his son while he was growing up in Hawaii. Young Barack was in the 5th grade when the photo was taken. (Photo courtesy of Barack Obama / March 23, 2007)"

Something very strange is going on here. The San Francisco sign is so easy to see in that picture of him with his father. The one with Barack Sr. and Ann the wording above is very hard to read. I guess since the angle is slightly different could make it harder to read. But could it say "Philippines" like you thought it said in the one picture and also "San Francisco"? I am not familiar with airports.

imo - Stanley looks slightly pregnant and much younger in the first pic. And that looks like a maternity top. usatoday referred to that picture as their wedding pic - where no guests were invited.

Barack's Dad looks the same age in both his pics.

Barack looks older in the photo with Barack Sr. And Barry liked to wear necklaces and watches.
