There was a gigantic turn toward John McCain in the two weeks immediately after the GOP convention. In large part this was due to the Sarah Palin nomination, and the tremendous miscalculation by the Democrats in attacking Palin — particularly on issues important to women, such as her caring for her children. Iowa is strongly Obama. BO has polled +10 for the last two months.

Highly optimistic. Actually, I think it depends upon whether or not we get the message out to our friends, family, and other contacts documenting Obama's Marxist and radical career development.

In a way, right now it’s probably meaningless to argue about which polls are “correct” because the only real way we have of testing them is going to occur on Nov. 4, and I do expect some things to change before then. The electoral maps with tossup states are going to be wrong unless something extraordinary occurs, because those states are not going to have a tie vote.

I can’t wait to see your bumpersticker on the 405! (I went to a show tonight and actually saw a Kucinich 08 sticker - say what?)

i went to the McCain website and ordered mine - took about 2 weeks. But there are various sites that have them and might be faster - just google “bumper stickers”.

Man, I wish Morris would stop prognosticating on political races and focus his powers of prediction on the ponies or craps table instead. I’d bet against his picks, and win every time.

There are other beneficial effects, such as biasing against regional candidates, but this is a good start.

By the way, could you imagine trying to do a national recount, where single acts of fraud have no boundaries. We couldn’t even make Florida Dems follow basic rules of logic and evidence.

Oh my gosh, what an article. I have to read it but I feel like I need cartoon pictures to go with it, LOL.
