When Barack Obama first began campaigning in New Hampshire in early 2007, many voters swooned. We watched him speak to retirees in Claremont one snowy February day that year. Not a single voter we talked with before he spoke planned to vote for him. Afterwards, many said they would. The word that spontaneously came from the lips of multiple attendees: sincere. They couldn't remember a politician who spoke with such sincerity, they said. And many of them had been voting since World War II.
We wonder what those same voters think of Obama's sincerity now. In the past few weeks, Obama has thrown so many false accusations against John McCain that just keeping track of them has become difficult...

Once you can fake sincerity, the rest is easy.
Sociopaths find it very easy to fake sincerity, certainly for a little while, until they get what they want. The only good thing about having this campaign go on as long as it has is that Obama can’t fake sincerity forever; even a sociopath ends up dropping the mask, if only because he has moved on to another group by whom he wants to be accepted and now feels he can safely dump the first group he charmed.
Hopefully, by the time Election Day rolls around, the mask will have dropped off entirely and people will have had a chance to see the ugly, power-obsessed thing behind it.

Keeping up the mask is costing Obama a lot of mental energy. He is making more mistakes and is having an ever harder time speaking without reading.
The debates could be interesting even though they will be stacked in Obama’s favor in terms of m”moderators”, questions, and audience selection. Even if Obama’s team is secretly given the questions beforehand, he will have to recite without a teleprompter.
But, but, but this is the Obamessiah how can they suggest he is dishonest? If only the media would remove all of the reporters in Alaska investigating Gov. Palin. (Also expose the dirty tricksters.) Then send these people to Chicago and in 3 days we'd know the real Barry Obama.
But the media knows he's in trouble, and that's a large part of the obsessive coverage of Palin as a distraction. They'll do everything they can to help him across the finish line, especially in the debates, but even that may not be enough for prevent meltdown.
Both Obamas are ticking time bombs at this point. Michelle's rage is so thinly concealed that she's capable of lighting his fuse, so they're being kept apart as much as possible, as evidenced by the weak excuse for her absence at Ground Zero.

I live in PA and I am SICK of the abject LIES in every single ad that Barack Obama is running! He is lying about John McCain's own words, he is lying about McCain's campaign team, he is lying about his own record in the Senate. I feel we have gone through the looking glass when all we hear on the news and in the papers is "McCain is lying." He is NOT lying, but Obama is.
I am sick of no action taken against the media who are clearly nothing more than mouthpieces of the Obama campaign and the DNC. Every McCain spokesman or Republican needs to call them out on it EVERY appearance they make and cite these blatant examples of questions and hit pieces they do against McCain-Palin vs. their treatment of Obama and Biden. Never let up. They need to be brought to account for this criminal behavior in which they are abusing the first amendment. This is not at all what the founders had in mind and the press has crossed the line in being blatantly dishonest with their lies and propaganda for the Demonrats. And the only way they will be held to account is when they are CONTINUALLY called on it no matter what the conservative/GOP guests are there for an interview-make it THE issue. This charade cannot continue because these people are engaged in a form of tyranny. It needs to be confronted because they have crossed the line. Republicans/conservatives have nothing to lose and the media needs to be put in their place. I think a boycott is in order at some point as well.

About five weeks to go, and the dems are worried that people will vote McCain for racial reasons. So they’re desperately trying innoculate the public, making whites feel guilty if they even entertain the notion that a black man isn’t up to the job. Never mind that Obama is an empty suit, and if they’d nominated someone qualified, they wouldn’t have to run around pointing accusing fingers. The end justifies the means. They’ll do anything to get back in power.
Meanwhile the mud slinging will go from bad to worse. As for the debates, the MSM will declare Obama and Biden overwhelming winners no matter what. (Remember GW’s debates with AlGore? AlGore looked like a fool, yet the MSM went on and on about his victories.) This time the drumbeat will be deafening, sickening, and many voters won’t bother to watch because they’re turned off by Obama’s dirty tactics.
As for Gov. Palin, we won’t see her face on the MSM. She’s become a non person except for negative attacks, but the fair Michelle turns up on magazine covers as a smiling beauty queen answering housewives’questions about baking and cleaning. Plus giving out Obama’s favorite homemade cookie recipe! Well, if Obama loses, blacks will think they’ve been robbed, and if they riot and people end up dead, Liberals and dems had better get down on their knees and beg God for forgiveness. But they won’t. It’ll be portrayed as McCain and the republican party’s fault. And the racist, bigoted American voters. Let’s hope the Libs all move to Europe.
That's a very interesting observation. You're right about sociopaths growing enraged and potentially violent or dangerous when thwarted, and he certainly does seem to be getting more vicious and incoherent in his remarks.
I think you're right about Michelle, too; she's not a sociopath, just a radical left-winger with a racial obsession, but she could act as a trigger to him. It is odd that they never appear together.
Sincerity. Once you can fake that, you fake pretty much anything.
