most likely to fight against him in ways that could be effective

You mean like putting his credibility at issue?

Apologist suggests support, or one would not be offering a defense. Additionally, disagreeing or pointing out legitimate concerns with offered positions is not a defense of Obama. None of us here wish to see Obama as President. But NOT all of us agree that he is ineligible or that we will be able to prevent his inaugural. How is that defense?

Offering well-reasoned discussion will further your position more than rude dismissal of those who do not agree with you.

If I thought it were suspicious

Obama refuses to release his birth certificate, gives no reason for his refusal and sends teams of lawyers into the courts to prevent its release and you don't find that behavior suspicious?

Right.

I’m 63. The day I was born was August 5, 1945. Within a week my paternal grandmother had a notice in the newspaper in her town in Tennessee declaring my birth ... in Washington DC.

Believe that it exists?

Believe in the whole conspiracy theory, in all its forms. The question you should be asking isn't "Why doesn't he release his birth certificate (and all those other documents)?", but "Why would he, given the way this is playing out?"

In other words, he's playing you like a violin.

That is true of many papers, but not the ones in Honolulu.

Please see my post #596 and the better worded #597 just below.

The Constitution is the Constitution and Obama hasn’t proven citizenship.

BRAVO - I don't care what side of this fence you are on, pa mom - you just made, in my opinion, the quote of the day.

DISCUSS - SHARE - LEARN - GROW

So the ACLU supports the KKK?

“And the law about registering a birth in Hawaii if the kid wasn’t born there didn’t take effect until 1980 something.” What a farcical assertion! Do you even know that Barry has A SISTER who was born in Indonesia and has an Hawaiian COLB? Sheesh, the obamanoids are coming out of the woodwork to pass along Axelrod’s layers of lies.

Donofrio’s suit and the CT one appear to be about forcing the secretaries of state in NJ and CT to carry out the law that is already on the books for putting names of candidates on the ballot — that they be verified to be qualified “according to the law.” Neither SoS has done so. I cannot understand the grounds for the SC to not review that case. Why should the SC say, “Ok, you don’t need to perform the actions required by the law, Ms. SoS of New Jersey.”

Why would it, though?

Shipped you off to the "Undisclosed Location", did they?

In the minds of many, they are the only true representatives of the set of beliefs they cling to, the only real defenders. They define conservatism in their minds, not realizing that conservatism is a specific set of beliefs, and anyone who holds a majority of those beliefs as opposed to non-conservative beliefs is a conservative. Anything that disagrees with beliefs they adopt on an issue is obviously not conservatism to them.

It's like the Terry Schiavo case - I personally thought that it played out tragically, but I don't jump to the conclusion that anyone who disagreed with my stance that she should be kept alive is automatically a liberal.

I haven't mentioned or presented any conspiracy theories. I've only asked a question: Why won't Obama release his actual birth certificate?

You keep asking if I agree. As if my personal opinion is important. It isn't my opinion that is important. It is the law. Standing has been well defines in the U.S. court system for over 150 years. And based on that precedent, none of these plaintiffs have standing. It's as if I say OJ Simpson was acquitted in the murder trial and you ask don't you agree he was guilty. My opinion does not change the fact that he was acquitted.

I do think many conservatives ought to think twice before they demand a system where any citizen can sue to declare the winner of a presidential election ineligible. Could you imaging what groups like ACORN could do with that tight the next time a Republican is elected? Can you picture a half million lawsuit filed?

Geee, shucks!

I’m absolutely fascinated by this and while I don’t think there is anything here, I do understand the skepticism about the failure to release the vault BC.

I, for one, want to learn all I can. It just happens that for me, my research has lead me down a different road than some others. But keep posting, bc I certainly want to learn all that’s out there.

I guess we’ll see. I heard that Lightfoot AND Keyes were being filed with SCOTUS today.

Because it's far more useful to him to have conspiracy theorists attacking everyone on the right who doesn't buy into their theories. How's that?

He does not have it. And if he does and he is playing us to slap it in our faces at a later time, that, in my oinion is far worse than a usurper (Yes, I still think a usurper is horrible too).

Either way, he needs to be dressed in an ATF jumpsuit and helo dropped into the deep mountains of western Kentucky!

As the ACLU claims (note I say claims, I think it fails many times) to support freedom of speech/expression, and the KKK is exercising that freedom, and does not by its existence infringe on the rights of others (the actions of members notwithstanding), I would say they certainly support the KKK.
