(CNN) The White House released President Obama’s original birth certificate Wednesday.
The surprise release follows recent and sustained remarks by businessman Donald Trump, among others, that raised doubts as to whether the president was born in the United States.
Yes, that was my question. So copier with a green hashed paper would not produce the white around the letters, but digitizing that piece of paper would (more or less depending on how it was digitized). It seems very odd that we would not a high fidelity picture of the original if it were made by a copy machine with green hashed paper. Any $50 camera would produce an image without white around the letters.
Read the conversation in posts #861, 868, 920, 930, and 946. In short, you’re wrong.
There is the layered “BC”. Scroll down and you will see the 1 you speak of in the serial number. It seems if you zoom the “BC” to 800%, all the blurred typed numbers and letters are separate in the layers.
Here is the U.S. STANDARD CERTIFICATE OF LIVE BIRTH from the CDC. Everything down to Certifier is on Obama’s birth certificate. There are then two and a half pages of INFORMATION FOR ADMINISTRATIVE USE.
Every birth certificate is an abstract - there is a lot of information that is collected for health statistic reasons. No one’s birth certificate has ever shown all the information on the Certificate of Live Birth that the hospital filled out.

Submitted by HawaiiUScode on Wed, 2011-04-27 14:03. As per USC 48 Ch 3, S. 3 HAWAII (Hawaii Admission Act), Hawaii's statehood was not ratified and complete until September 18, 1961. Obama was born August 4, 1961. He is not a natural born US citizen.

Really? Even Alexander Hamilton, acknowledged the change of eligibility requirement for POTUS in Federalist #68, where he also acknowledges the national security reason for the requirement of natural born Citizen instead of his original draft of "born a Citizen":
"Nothing was more to be desired than that every practicable obstacle should be opposed to cabal, intrigue, and corruption. These most deadly adversaries of republican government might naturally have been expected to make their approaches from more than one quarter, but chiefly from the desire in foreign powers to gain an improper ascendant in our councils. How could they better gratify this, than by raising a creature of their own to the chief magistracy of the Union?"

They were processed on the “date filed”. Janice Okubo said that the “date filed” is the date that the BC# was given at the HDOH office. So even if everything was alphabetized on Aug 8th, those BC’s would all get earlier BC#’s than anything “filed” on the 11th.
But Obama’s was supposedly given a number on the 8th and it’s a higher/later number than the Nordykes which were assigned a number on the 11th.
And why is her name printed as Stanley Ann Dunham, but her “signature” is Stanley Ann Dunham Obama?

The birth certificate asks for the full maiden name of the mother, as all birth certificates do.
Even if they were married in Oahu, the status is questionable, because Obama, Senior had a wife in Kenya.

Oh, it’s been answered since - they printed the abstract BC onto matching “bamboo” patterned security paper.
But as Butterdezillion says, it’s weird that it looks half like a copy from the original book and half like a printout.
Mostly right, except that the date that matters is the “date filed” since that is when the number was given. Doesn’t really matter when they were born, only when the HDOH got their BC in their office and stamped it with a number - which Janice Okubo says was the “date filed” for Oahu births.
Remember that the people in MI and the whole country for that matter will cover for him because they don’t like to admit they are wrong.
So... I did. I downloaded the file...and opened it in Illustrator...and indeed... this document has been pieced together. It’s a layered file. You can click and hide various layers until the screen is blank.
Now... look. I’m tired of this stupid argument. I really am. But as a graphic artist, I can tell you that if someone scanned in an image and saved it as a PDF, it would have been a solid, single layer. The only way that I know of for it to be broken down into layers is if it had been manipulated and created digitally.
Feel free to call me a whatever...but see for yourself if what that person Rush mentioned said is right.

At least he died "Smilan" long before he knew people would think about exhuming him on this basis.
